Great video Al. Those folks sent me one also, but I haven't done anything with it yet. I didn't realize it was a cell phone type with a monthly bill. Their lowest priced set up only has about 300 pictures or videos per month.....sometimes I get that many pictures in a few days. Mostly wind blowing brush, or birds. The other problem is cell service here isn't great in the mountains. Where I would like to put this, there is no service. It looks like a good camera. I need to try it and fulfill my end of this anyway.

They paid for the service for a month. I dont have good service at the cabin but somehow I get 40% signal with this thing. The standard free trial is 7 days I believe. I was very surprised it worked at my place. The only pictures/videos that count are if you download them to your phone. Request HD first...then they notify you its ready to download. Be a great way to pattern animals with a graph and everything. If you do not download anything it dosent count toward your total.

Ted with cell cameras it doesn't matter what carrier you use for your phone. It only matters which carriers in your area have a good signal. If AT&T has a good signal in your area then you won't have any problems! Kind of like if your friend has an AT&T phone he would still be able to text you so long has he could get a signal!

Does it have to have it's own number added to your existing cell service? Does it need to have a cell signal in order to broadcast, or can it work using a signal from a home wi-fi network? P.S. I don't use Amazon.

Same phone number... I'm pretty sure it is cellular only but you would need to ask them I'm not positive.
