As far as i know its a command key or input to bring the menu up then they have to find the slider or tick a box. So with a good pc should take 5-10seconds for a bad pc could be 30 or more. Just to bring the menu up. Considering most cheaters are bad at everything add 5 seconds for them to move their mouse in the right area.

Most cheaters tend to have lower IQ than the average gamer. Cheaters don't know how to adapt and get better at a game so they often turn to cheats to make up that difference.

tricks the game into thinking they have feet on the ground, people who dont get detected are most likely running dma cards and a 2nd computer to not get nabbed by anticheats, and unfortunately no amount of coding can currently detect them.

@@LutgardisLul Or just using a VM so they have full DMA control without even having to risk adding hardware cards. Any ol' used HP/Dell server with the proper utils (eSXI, DRAC, etc) can do that with absolutely NO WAY of being detected if done properly with the hardware handoff on the level those are capable of. They don't even have to have a dma card... it sucks. I hope the anticheat companies figure out some new detection method that still gets them, even with this or other methods, card or not. It would have to be pretty deep in memory access control to detect anything, though... not sure if any anticheat should have that level of control... it's a tough battle. Edit: OH! And that sort of detection would likely false-trip every single time anyone tried to game using a virtual gaming/streaming service like GeForce Now or Gamepass...

@@frequencywatchers I was trying to use the "SWIM" protocols to avoid seeming like I was just trying to brag, but I guess it caused further confusion, sooo... Triple certified network admin in the 1990s here. Maintained Microsoft and Cisco certs until 2016, now just MS certified. It's mostly for personal choice now. Not needed for work at this time. My home PC is an HP DL380 Gen9. (2U rack mounted in a quiet, high airflow server cabinet). I was talking about the way I run my games, as I've accidentally triggered false positives on cheat detection engines, multiple times, that scan for DMA manipulation. Then I figured out how to not trip them. What I had to configure in the security profile to block them even checking. Cheaters can probably figure out the same thing for their cheat stuff, if they're knowledgeable enough. *shrug* I know I'm not the best programmer in the world, so if I figured out as much as I did, it stands to reason to assume that someone out there has taken it even further. Especially if they are the person making and selling the cheat engine. Edit: typo correction

Camomo you're a blessing to gaming man and I think facepunch (and all PvP game devs) should just pay guys like you really good money to sit at home and stream banning cheaters all day. Anti-cheats do not cut it. Most cheaters use spoofers. It's bad out there these days. Even when they're banned they just buy an account that has the game they want already on it for like $4 or something. I feel for the devs and understand it's such a hard problem to solve but I really think just hiring 20-100 Camomo's to work 40 hours a week might be the best method for most devs.

It's kind of astonishing when you realize how cheaters around the globe are basically the same copypasta as the very cheat they obtained to play this game. What's also astonishing is how they cant understand that once you have a game ban, no one will ever take their word. a ban it meant to deter you from hacking in other games also because of the feeling of not wanting to be banned or risk yet ANOTHER account being compromised is a crappy feeling, always wonder if this session is going to be time-limited as if you were playing a demo instead of a whole game. But st least in PVE you can shoot anyone and you cant kill them and they cant kill you. Someone I played a few wipes with made his own server, I came to play on it to +1 his pop and he ended up roping me into admining. Any tips on things I should look out for? I know strafing at speed = hacks. But I should just be able to google admin commands and work out which ones to use to do some of what you do, right?

Everything camomo uses is a server plugin so you'll have to get the owner to add the ones you want. I think some of the plugins aren't shared publically and or aren't free to use.
