The newer one scales better with the rex because they were actually closer to the same size in the movie and they specifically say Indo can become larger in time but currently was not.

The original has way better skin/scale detail than the new version. The new version has a very soft detail look to it and you can barely see the scales of the skin on the face and body whereas the old one looks way better. Mattel really dropped the ball with the texture sculpt on the new one to be honest.

The new one is really good and accurate. But it lacks my favorite feature. Being able to devour. I’ve never gotten one that can devour though because they don’t always have the best sculpt and there’s always something better. I gave up a Trash N’ Devour T. Rex for the Hammond Collection one. The legs being locked together on the Trash N’ devour makes its legs have limited movement. And the head is too wide which makes it look derpy. The Destroy N’ Devour Indominus Rex is still very good but it’s proportions are very big, and the tail is very short which makes it put weight on the front and after some time it falls over. The only way to fix this is to risk breaking it. I hope Mattel makes a good dinosaur that can devour. The only toys that do this right are the Red Rex and the Super colossal toys, but they have no action features. I hope Mattel can make better dinosaurs that can devour.

That is a really fun feature. I didn't think it made the head look to bad on the first Indominus but on the T-Rex the head looked a bit strange, too big.

The legs being locked up is better, that way you can pose the toy without having to touch the legs.

@@TheTreeDragon Yes but then you can't make it in some positions such as running, or walking. And if the legs are locked together you would still have to grab onto at least one leg for it to be stable. But that is only my opinion and I respect your opinion too.

To be honest, the Indominus in the movie was only T. Rex size. (around 30ft) and Dr. Henry Wu stated that it would be 50ft when grown up. So it was bound to escape since its cage was only 40ft when being built. And to make an accurately full-grown toy Indominus you would need to use the super colossal since they aren't 100x bigger than the regular toys but still as big.
