CAMP CHEF STRYKER 200 MUTI-FUEL STOVE ! JETBOIL KILLER?

I love my Jetboil Flash, but I mostly use it for car camping. while i was in walmart the other day i seen this inexpensive multi-fuel stove and thought this a Jetboil Killer!

Just bought mine tonight at Walmart on clearance for $53. It was the last one left. I had a Jetboil years ago that I misplaced. I can’t wait to use this!

This was helpful. Really appreciate the clarity on features and differences. I bought a small camp stove set from Amazon for 20.00 that also works well complete with compact, light utensils, bowl incorporated! Like this stove as well. Thsnks

Bought one and made rice and Mac and cheese in mine. It's awesome! I also don't really see any benefit in getting a branded jetboil if there's cheaper alternatives that can hold more volume.

I just wrote a comment about removing the handle and wire latch to reduce weight. On touch issues-seems like with the red cloth cover one could wait a moment or two before one grabbed the unit to pour.??? Also: thanks you for this review. It seemed very complete and thorough.

Propane burns 10 degrees C hotter than butane, so pretty negligible, however propane tanks are at a higher pressure then isobutane stoves are designed for, making it necessary to reduce the gas pressure when using on isobutane stoves. Try increasing the propane flow through the adapter, it may be adjustable using a very small Allen wrench.

I think hunting with a buddy or two the Stryker is better option otherwise really each man has to carry a jet boil. Being able to pack a large canister inside is great also when ur on a mountain for 3-5 days as it will be plenty fuel without packing smaller spare fuel. Being able to use dual fuel is great as I always have 1lbs lp tanks ice fishing on me

I think the difference in boil time is a fluke because I've seen on videos n real time that it doesn't take 7 mins to boil 4 cups of water on the STRYKER. that should have happens in around the 5 min mark. But who's to say what conditions in your testing was different from what I've seen. None the less, the video was informative in the comparison between the two systems, and I am in agreement with you. for car camping it is the most economical way bring 4 cups of water to a boil for under $100, and when it 8am at a camp site and you want a cup of joe, i really don't want to make a camp fire for coffee...that takes more than 7 mins

Its NOT absolutely necessary to use the stand for propane bur it helps

@@unclebillscamping might make you nervous but its not a necessity. You can use it without the stand. Obviously a little care needs to be taken but i use it regularly with just the canister or propane bottle.

I got mine a year ago for $64 but then they were out of stock. Back on the shelf for $74 now. Still cheaper than the big online retailers that want $134.

The only advantage of this is multifunctional which can be used in ISO n propane tank ,however its Not practical for It consumes too much gas, another is the weight n size issue.
