@@freeman7079 Is 'shifting gear' not understood in Oz as slang for selling hard drugs/heroin? Because that's the only change I don't get - it's the pressure of poverty pushnghim to desperate thoughts. 'Shifting gears' is a much weaker line IMHO.

I was worried that they were versioning a song that's a masterpiece performance in its original form and you can visualise it being wrecked a million ways but they found one of the niche ways to make it different but every bit as good as the original, and I think that's about the highest praise anyone could earn.

Such an amazing, relatable song, and obviously a banger cover of it - but Camp Cope would slay whatever they covered. Some very excellent lyric changes too, that take out one uncomfortable line and makes it even more relatable.

Such marvellous drums (her cool style reminds me of Terri Moeller from The Walkabouts) and a MELODIC bass, not just one that makes "doomdoomdoom" all the time and that you don't notice and wouldn't miss at all! (But the piano and the singer aren't bad, either.)
