You know when you hear a song for the first time and you're instantly transfixed? Time seems to stop and you're transported somewhere else for a few blissful minutes. Thanks Camp Cope ☺

I follow some Australians on Twitter who are AFL related. Up the Bloods! Through one of those lovely people I was just turned on to Camp Cope about a week ago. Holy shit the voice on Georgia is insane. New fan from Canada.

Who they're influenced by is their own business, just appreciate good aussie tunes by talented aussies regardless of who they may or not sound like nor what they have between their legs.

You can probably just describe a band with the words "jazzmaster" and "explosive drummer" and I'll be like 'yes please' but CC just kill it well beyond that. Early Rainer Maria funneled through PJ Harvey "Dry" with a bass dose of New Order. I can't even count the times I've run the motorcycle out into the distance with them blasting in my earbuds. I know words like "epic" and "wrenching" are over used to describe music but until people find new ones I'll stick to them and eagerly await any new CC releases like a high speed open blast down a highway.

yeah you are heaps cool comparing a female band to a male band., god forbid georgia, kelly and sarah could come up with something without a male influence.

Apparently each genre only gets one band now, go figure.
