TOOL's music is nothing short of a musical Big Bang, a cosmic creation and simultaneously, a poignant end to the universe. It's an experience that has left me utterly speechless, a testament to the profound impact their artistry has had on me. Their sonic landscapes unfold like the universe itself, with layers of intricate melodies, and each lyric carries the weight of a collapsing star - intense, deep, and emotionally explosive. In every note, TOOL manages to encapsulate the essence of a journey, a voyage through the vast expanse of emotions. It's as if they've tapped into the very fabric of existence, weaving together a tapestry of sound that resonates with the complexities of life. The music is a gentle caress for the mind and soul, a cosmic embrace that leaves an indelible mark. And this particular song, it feels like the Big Bang of all Big Bangs - a creation that takes shape only to unravel, making way for a rebirth. It's a musical metamorphosis, a celestial dance where every note and lyric converges and diverges in a cosmic rhythm. This composition is more than just an auditory experience; it's a journey through the cycles of creation and destruction, a sonic representation of the universe's eternal ebb and flow. (16/6/2024)

@@droptherapy2085 I must admit that this band - The Contortionist - was completely unknown to me until yesterday. However, based on my initial listen, I can say that I thoroughly enjoy their musical compositions. That said, I find "Clairvoyant" to be a better and more intriguing piece compared to "Language." The song "Relapse", with its complex subtlety, has particularly resonated with me and is currently my favorite track. Thank you for the excellent music recommendation! :-)

Danny is like the secret superstar of tool according to many musicians and experts. Me aswell. THe whole Band is absolutly fantastic and probably the most complex band we have. But Dannys Drumming is controlling everything that makes tool special. The Timings, the atmosphere, all Sounds that sound like digital are E-Drums etc. He is doing the Timing, He is brining the heavyness into certain parts and on this album especially drums are suuuper hard in focus. If you listen to it try to notice what is the leading instrument. There are a lot of solos aswell. Fear Inoculum will be a super special Album for Drummers of generations to come. It is one very rare kind of drum focused Album that can give a lot of inspiration, practice etc. I don't know if non-drummers can understand what i mean but this is just super special for us :D

The reason fans of Tool come from all ages, is because TOOL's sound is truly timeless. They're ahead of their time really. Maynard has always been incredibly talented, and their sound has only been refined over the years. They're severely underrated. I hope they can live to see people realize what they're really all about. The perspective in the narrative, and constant attention to detail in the music itself, really create something that transcends all barriers, be it evolutionary, or interplanetary. Absolutely one of the best bands of all time, not just musically, but also in they message they're trying to send to people. All I wish is that more people would listen honestly, and try to understand. At it's heart, everything is a message of unity. It's an expression of our connection to the cosmos. The universe. God. Call it what you will. The power that guides us to do the right thing. To be better than yesterday. For the good of everyone. It reminds us that we are fundamentally alone, but also diametrically together.

This song has become therapeutic for me. It consistently sits me down and centers me and drowns out all the noise of the day for 10 minutes. That's very powerful, not too many songs have that magic. Thankful for Tool's music, wish I took the deep dive sooner.

@MrBrandonfloyd255 жыл бұрын
@@parkergray4834 Whos Robin? lol. @Randall I agree, every song I listen to on here by Tool I will scroll down and read like 10-15 comments and peoples replies and when I read some of the comments it makes me so happy because for a long time it seemed people (outside of the true fan base) percieved Tool as a depressing "heavy metal" and too much screaming type of band (honestly, that's words I've heard people used who hadn't actually bothered to take the time to actually listen), but now I'm seeing people coming from every corner of the galaxy to make a positive remark and to celebrate such beautiful music. Another great thing is the comments I've read about people just discovering Tool for the first time, or Taylor Swift fans came to listen just to see what the fuss was about and seems like most of em get hooked on Tool immediately and keep saying "why haven't I been listening to Tool forever" and "wow I thought I wasn't going to like this, but here I am falling in love with Tool". hahahaha Tool transcends genre's, time and space and if there is by some crazy chance a God :P out there.... then it listens to Tool too.

People that don't make music don't know how difficult is to create a chorus line that works, even more in every album and in every song, but they have done it again...

I have nothing but the utmost awe and respect for musicians... what they do individually is an amazing feat in itself but then to come together and make it all work with the egos involved...it’s amazing. Music is one of the greatest things humanity has and will ever create.

Nearly one year since this song has come out, and I’ve listened to this a solid couple hundred times. Driving home today from work, I had this playing and it just... hit different. It hit me harder than any other time I’d heard this song. And I think that’s what sets tool apart from all the other music I listen to. Even after hearing their songs hundreds of time, every now and then one strikes just right to resonate with my entire being. No other music has ever made that deep of a connection with me.

I am a week and a half into discovering TOOL on my own, after a dear friend(over a year ago) told me about them I just now searched them and It's as if I listened to music for the first time, they are something else, the powerful music and lyrics have given me something I was missing in my life, I can't believe a band I barely know because I've only listened to about 8 songs now and played them on repeat cause I can't get enough, I listen to them while I study, while I work, while I cook, while I shower, while I meditate, before I go to sleep, it's changed something in me, as if I am waking up from a long almost 30 years of my life and never knew I was sleeping the whole time, I don't know if the feeling I get when I listen to their music will fade, I hope not, and It's been crazy because I can't listen to any other song on repeat but it seems as if I were to pick any of the few songs I've heard and put them on repeat all day it would be a perfectly more than fine fucking day. I will go slowly into listening to new songs, cause I don't know how long this feeling will last, and I want to enioy every second of it.

One of the few bands I know of today that absolutely loves playing their instruments...so many bands, especially pop bands, seem to just tack on the instrumental as a necessity, and would rather have everything simulated by computer. Very few bands have the talent, courage, and vision to give their instruments a voice. Long interludes of purity even though Maynard is a phenominal singer. It sort of reminds me of an orchestra with modern instruments. Bach, Mozart, et al wrote instrumentals when it gets down to it (of course operas too). But these masters enjoyed the instrumental composition. I get a similar feeling with Tool.

I don't actually like it as much as the old stuff. The bass is doing the same as the guitar 90% of the time, and the sound in general feels very barebones compared to Lateralus and 10000 days. I'm also not a fan of how Maynard doesn't have long lines anymore, it's all just a syllable or two with a long pause

reicse owen Dude, it clearly excites you but you gotta spell that one word right ... BASS line. Not being a grammar Nazi, just don’t want your passion to ever looked “contrived” to others. I used to be a great speller but now I find myself struggling to remember how to spell certain words. I know bass because I’ve got a gorgeous Fireglo Rickenbacker Bass.

50 years old, fan of 'all' classics rock/pop/metal bands you can think of....just recently discovered TOOL. Heck I'm baffled. I daily come back to listen to pneuma, schism, and discovering others. The particular rythm is something! Glad to discover good music, even late...as there is nothing of value to listen to nowadays....
