Thank you for your camp host comments. I am an older male. Solo Camp Host. Small campground 25 full hook ups. 5 acres tent area. A small lake. Retired from forestry now. I was a camp host. 7 days a week. Volunteer, for a "free" place to stay. Cleaning etc. Also handled reservations. Campground fees Deposits. I only made it one season. Easier dealing with trees. Enough to make me go back to forestry. Trees don't talk back. Vic . I had problems with people that refused to pay. I always kept campers at an arms length. I would make change for the laundry. That was it. Vic.

Spruce camp ground! We use to stay at the site you filmed at and 25D in the early 2000's. This year was our 1st time back since 2011 and we stayed at Te-aH

I like your uniform. I feel lucky to be able to enjoy traveling and camping without needing to work for anyone. Good luck with the camp host job, and have fun with Zen.

Hi Tom I think you would be a great camp host. You come across as pleasant, warm and gentle. Iam sure people respond to that. That’s for sharing this. Does zen have a uniform as well. I also hadn’t though about the impact of the altitude. 😀

@@Rescueluv thank you, if you are nice to people it usually is a pleasant return and zen is uniformless but he runs besides the golf cart and voices his opinions of other dogs 🐶. It does take some time to altitude adjust for sure.

Great that the company uses Starlink.... I have been shocked at the CGs hosts I have met 😮that there was no cell and no way to contact in case of an energenc

@@untetherednomad6393 agreed, if not for starlink I would have to drive 2 miles to a one bar cell signal. Much better this way in case a ranger is needed or updates on weather or forest fires 🔥

If a campground host does not have sewer hook up, does the management offer weekly "honey pot" service? Most campground hosts are allowed to pick their own site? Especially if the host vehicle needs sun for solar power. Are you required to be there every day all day?

@@clarkleakins879 each area is different so it’s good to ask before committing to that campground. I know there are 2 dump stations in other campgrounds less than 5 miles from my camp
