Is it? When people start protesting about social issues, the first thing the cops do is roll out the riot police and label everyone a looter. @I hate Turkey I don't 5hink you wanna die on the "It's the dead people's fault for getting sick" hill
@bigman1163 Жыл бұрын
@I hate Turkey you do know that a large problem with AIDS was that many didn't notice the symptoms at first, you might not know you have AIDS until a month after contracting it, especially in the 80s when worldwide sex Ed was severely lacking in the Ed part if yknow what I mean. So a person doesn't realize they contracted AIDS, they keep fucking, and then AIDS spreads to people who also don't immediately know they've got it, who then keep fucking, and so on and so forth. The main issue was that the public didn't know a lot about AIDS, especially those in 3rd world countries. It's a whole lot more complicated than "It's their fault for being sluts" Not to mention you'd have a ton of assholes who wouldn't tell you if they did have AIDS. So we got the majority of the world knowing very little or nothing about this disease, you have people unaware of the disease in their body, and you have people who don't care if they spread it to someone else. This is all a great recipe for a disaster. So even if you rarely had sex, let's say once every 3 months and there's a 1 in 10 chance you can get AIDS then theoretically once every 30 months (2 and a half years) you will most likely get AIDS. Now apply that logic to the rest of Humanity. Take this all with a truckload of salt because I did guesstimate those numbers, but it still wasn't uncommon to find someone who was unaware of their AIDS. I hope I made my point clear
