Friend of mine just had this covid. She was dealing with an infection following a small operation and therefore her immune system was probably low. She caught it at a group camping trip she'd just returned from, was quite ill and as she had no support group or family and the hospital that diagnosed her could not wait to send her home alone, I decided to look after her. I sorted her meals and fluids for a week, fed her cat, washed her dishes (by hand), was in the (small) house with her all that time. All her (fully vaccinated ) camping group caught it, many for the second or third time, I, (unvaccinated), in close contact with her for a week, never caught it, never have. Weird innit?
