Dr. Campbell, finally a doctor that talks about body temperature. I had a stroke in my thalamus and suffer from multiple debilitating conditions, one being body temperature spells is what I call it. I suffer from CPS and I thought that pain was torture, this body temperature damage tops my pain to infinity. Believe me I have had kidney stones for over 30 years, multiple surgeries trips to ER, and pain. Kidney stone pain is like a papercut. When I go into these spells I begin to sweat like it's 100 degrees, then I have to immediately lay down because my toes point and my entire body goes rigid, I call it locked in. The spells can last 20 minutes to hours and I'm stuck in this pain that has no scale. This truly is a tragedy to live like this. Would you be able to do a video or maybe someone you know who specializes it a damage thalamus, especially body temperature and everything that goes with this debilitating diagnosis. I'm sure you would help a lot of people that also deal with this. Thank you

Good day Dr. In pyrexia at what levels are considered to be danger levels, extreme danger levels etc. And what level would you consider to be the point where a person would be considered clinically dead. And is there a highest ever recorded temperature where a patient lived? ie higher than 44.6C and if so were there any side effects brain damage etc. Also what is the difference between scarlet fever and meningitis.

A few years ago, I caught a cold and fell asleep near the fan, and after that day I have pains in my head, feeling that inflammation is going on, but this inflammation is a little different. If I catch a cold anywhere on my body or drink cold water, the inflammation starts from that day, there is no need to talk about ice cream. The temperature of the body changes several times a day and I have terrible hot flashes. If I catch a cold in the summer, I try to either go to the mountains or try to sleep with my clothes on, because the peak lasts too long. I am a professional swimmer, otherwise I would probably be dead or in a coma by now. I live in Georgia and the doctors here can't tell me what's wrong and our tomography doesn't show anything, it seems to be very old. This inflammation seems to be going on, the only time was when I had a fever of 40 degrees, when the fever passed in about 5 days. It's as if this inflammation has also gone out. With a small cold and cold water, I felt fine for about 6 months. Summer came and I ate ice cream and this unfortunate inflammation started again. I was enjoying this 40 degree heat so much that I didn't even think of drinking antipyretic. I came across the opportunity to stop shakes's twist completely by accident. If you know what is wrong with me, please answer me. thanks

I've found this video in desperate search for some answers.My body temperature is really low sometimes, like 34-35°C max at some point it was 33.8.Every time I experience it my head is exploding!I am also never ever feel cold during those episodes.I went to the walk in center and been told that it's impossible to have this low temperature and if I had it I would be dead.I wouldn't mind taking part in some kind of experiments/research regarding it,if you know where I could seek help I would appreciate your advice

Hi How do you feel now has your temp improved?
@SatumainenOlento

Some type of nervous system dysregulation perhaps? Go to neurologist and endocrinologist. Do you have some nervous system damage? My temperature went down to 34.6 Celsius in some nights, but most of the time I suffer from heat intolerance. I have flushing episodes and nausea/malaise attacks nearly every day. I have mildly bulging disk which causes my legs and buttocks go numb and weakness. And left side of my body has weakness and tingling skin which is probably caused some neck/spine degeneration. I would not believe that this could cause all the trouble and illness which I am experiencing, but it seems possible medically. I am not diagnosed so this is only my own musings.

Fungal infections can cause low body temp. And since enzymes are a factor in maintaining body temp eating high enzymatic food should help. Raw vegan diet. All fruits and veg in a state with all its enzymes intact. Id go all raw for healing. Then stay high raw after for maintenance.
