Sweet man, I had the same thing happen and I bought 4 new tires and and 2 spares man. I’ll have to replace some of the tarp style material in the wheelwell because it was shredded. I’ll have to ask around about that.

Wanting to replace the plastic ones on a Surveyor 198bhle with metal ones. I know a blowout can be catastrophic.. Any ideas? Thanks

On mine it damaged both the plastic and the metal jskirt. I think the take away I had is to put higher rated tires on and keep them fresh.

Jigsaw or cutoff wheel depending on what cut I was making. Good tin snips work as well.

First make sure you get higher ply tires. You'll need to order parts from a dealer and expect to pay the most for shipping as they require crating. I ordered several pieces more than I needed since shipping doesn't change much and the parts are actually reasonable. Any RV dealer typically that sells your brand can order parts from the manufacture. The install isn't too bad and just need basic tools.
