My wife and I have had several travel trailers over the years. We have found that soft floors around the edges and corners are not from roof or window leaks. Everywhere I have had a soft spot there was a screw on the outside holding some trim in place that water has found its way through the wall. Caulk all the screws on the outside, I have even backed some out and put caulk on them and then tightened them back in. Good luck!

I know this is an old video but I just found your channel I have been renovating my own RV one of the first things I noticed was anything relating to RV's is extremely expensive. The first thing I did was get rid of the old smelly plastic toilet that came with mine and put in a porcelain toilet. Last year my fridge died and I replaced it with a residential fridge for half the cost of an RV fridge.

Same, a few years back I wanted to paint a few rooms grey... however, I wanted a light blueish not prison grey... it was overwhelming, but my son literally picked one and it was perfect. If he wasn't there I don't think I would have been able to decide. We have been in our home 20 years and I have not been able to decide what colors to choose for the rest of the rooms.

Maybe consult with an interior designer for the color scheme, she’s worth her weight in gold. Probably only $50-75 an hour. I hate wasps too. Did you check the roof so you are assured of no leaks in the future? Dealing with water restoration now myself due to wall leak. It’s such a hassle and costly. TSP helps keep the paint on longer and cleans the chemicals on the doors I would know because my dad and grandpa own a construction company and I have been around stuff like this since I was little

I hate to paint. Spray is the way. I rather mask everything and spray. I just hate rollers or brushes. Please wear a mask while in the small space or run a few fans to push the smell away.
