Pex is not 'less likely' to freeze, but it IS a lot more tollerant of freezing. Steel pipe can often only freeze once and it splits. Copper will tollerate freezing a few times and PVC will tollerate several times. I do not know if PEX or PVC wins the freeze tollerance or vibration tollerance test, but PEX is very tollerant of both.

Far as I’m concerned this is exactly the way to build out a van. We have identical items, with exception of heat and cook stove. Ours is electric induction and pulls very little power. Our heat is off a diesel heater. 30 gallons of fresh water but no filter osmosis system. When people ask how we run our ac with no generator, I usually laugh and tell them about the batteries. Today we returned from South Padre Island and had to park in a full hook up site. We have no capability for shout power ( yet). I think vans of this nature should be the future of van builds. We think alike!

Your induction cooktop does not pull a lot of power? I was told they pulled a ton of power, which is why we went with propane. But I really appreciate the comment and safe travels ✌️

@@buildersblueprint it pulls about 1000watts then backs off. We only have Renogys battery gauge telling us what amount % of amps we have. Gauge does not change. Our solar is 400 watts, but 5 100amp batteries. Are you in NM?? Also, it’s only one Burner !

For the 3 200W panels you have, what is your average wattage during peak sunny day?

Highest wattage I’ve seen on a sunny day is 430 watts. But that was with my fridge and lights on.

Great question We have the inverter for the television and so we can use our blender and charge your phone occasionally.
