For the sunstrip I just ordered some vinyl wrap off a well know selling site. Get the stuff with tiny little holes in and then you don’t get the air bubbles. Don’t worry you don’t see the tiny holes.

You also need to cut out a circle for the rain sensor in front of the rear view mirror. Top tip - blutack a coin over it when you fit the sunshade and then use a Stanley blade to cut round the coin for a perfect circle. 👍

As always, enjoyed the video - had a giggle about the batteries at the beginning. The clock looks great - good idea. I have to say, I don’t have our T6 any more as we exchanged it for another camper that suited our needs (or rather, the needs of our dogs!) better, but I do miss not being part of the Dub community 😕. Having a camper on a Citroen is not quite the same ……. but still love seeing what you and others do with your vans. 💕🐾

Hi Col Have you got fire extinguisher ? Also a Sirocco 12v swivel fan 3speed on a 3hr up to 12hr timer is great in the van on hot days or just to create airflow while sleeping @ night Cheers Liz VW Transporter Australia

Why didn't you use glue to connect the hinge to the clock? Also, use rare earth magnets to keep your door closed. You can super glue them on. Thanks for the vid. 👍

It’s gotta go on the inside to be safe. Do it on a warm day and that’ll help with water evaporation, when you squeegee the vinyl. Never done it myself, but it makes sense 🤷‍♂️😂

Interesting fact, if the sunshade is within the wiper sweep area you will likely fail an MOT. Trust me, been there, done that! It's also a pain to remove and keep re-applying every year!

My jaw dropped during this video - not because of the new clock fitting - seeing a Yorkshireman drilling hinges into a cheap clock, as a fellow Yorkshireman sent shivers up my spine, what if it wrecks the cheap clock - nor because of the switching the bottle opener around - nor because you lost money on the screen decals. But it dropped seeing you using your credit card in public to try and smooth out the windscreen decals. Christ, you need a DNA test to check you are truly from Yorkshire 🤣we never, never, ever, show our credit cards in public. We may have to admit we have them.....
