a good tip for adhesive vinyl covering is to spray water on the sticky side before putting it on any surface this stops full contact to the surface and allows you to adjust vinyl, then just use a plastic bank card to flatten out any air pockets, the water will be pushed out & you get a professional finish, easy to do :)

Thanks TSW great video which I wish I had found two days ago when I started installing mine. Thankfully my daughter & SIL finished it. Where I bought mine from supplied cheap flush hinges and getting them fitted was a nightmare. Great tip in getting T Trim around the bend which we didnt know. Only thing I would add is run a small screw drive around trim groove as much of mine had compacted saw dust in them. It might also be helpful to add here that the length of T Trim I used was 20m of 15mm trim. Like you we had numerous steel brackets to attach the cupboards to the van. Definitely now have anew sub.

05:32 easy way to avoid bubbles..first peel one cm or so of the white paper at the back and pull it slowly towards yourself.you can use a ruler to push the air in the bubbles out.

I know that kit. It's for a VW Transporter. I was going to buy it and ship it Australia but by the time I added the freight it became so damn expensive and I still had to cover it and put shelves in it. There is nothing like this kit here and so it has to be done all by hand.

I love those campervan kits. They are not available where I live and shipping is too costly. I never knew that that vinyl shit would go over sharp edges! Learnt something. Also, I noticed you didn't do the inside of the doors. Is it doable?

It was a case of into the hard carpet and into the wood underneath so didn't make contact with the metal flooring.

That laminate will bubble and Peal off usually in the winter when you put the heater on unless you treat the mdf with sanding sealer mdf is really bad for this !!

How did you warp the larger parts? And what screws did you use to fix it to the van?

Just very carefully and slowly, two people needed. One to roll the vinyl and one to smooth it down. It took some time. We ought wide rolls. Then small L brackets and self tappers into the floor and walls. Because there was wood there it was quite easy.

From memory yes as there wasn't any joins but this was a while ago.

I got them from eBay. A company down in Devon I think. However these are MDF and they did break apart a little. If I was doing it again I would use plywood. More expensive but stronger and also lighter as they way a tonne!

I got the vinyl wrap from B&Q in the UK. I really can't remember but I knew we ran out and had to go and get more.

eBay - There are loads of companies, I used Majestic Camper Supplies. When I do it again on my new van I would use plywood and not mdf (it tends to break apart and is heavy).
