good info, especially on the 10 minute wait to ensure the gas has settled before using it,
@Martin37vg2 жыл бұрын
Never heard the one about waiting for the gas to settle before opening bottle.. . If that was true my regulator would not work. Reason being is that my van can be driven with the gas switched on and with the heating running if I want. It has a crash cut off regulator which is working perfectly at 12 years old and had a lot of churned up gas propane through it. Yes the rupture proof pigtail hose has been changed due to date. We drive with the gas on most of the time and never had a regulator issue.

How good does it get? Well, in this video you will learn. How to save your live and stay safe. How to save money. You will lean basic gas principles from trained experts. And script, direction, editing, all excellently presented by two wonderful gentlemen. I might be a fan.

Thank you a great video, well explained. I will certainly wait 10+ minutes before putting the gas on. Could you do a video about solar panels please and how they work. Thanks

A very informative video upload Jason and Kevin, it can't be stressed enough the importance of the LPG system and how works. Also it should be left to gas Safe registered engineer's only. This is why a regular annual habitation check is vital! Thanks guy's!

Really interesting but also very worrying at the same time. I recently seen a van conversion being done on KZbin and the guy doing the work didn't seem to be installing the gas system like you have just explained it should be done. 🤔🙄

What about refillable bottles?
@dalefountain92692 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your videos. I value your advise. Some cannels say it's okay to travel with the gas on, because they have a crash valve fitted. Is it okay to drive with the gas on?
@TheMotorhomeMan2 жыл бұрын
Own preference I would prefer not to 👍

Having driven for two hours, waited my turn in reception (and had the usual argument about whether our awning is actually a tent (The caravan club), and driven around the site trying to find a place to stay, We are NOT going to wait 10 minutes to get a brew going. And assuming it isnt just about to rain, this ought to be the first thing you do - with the exception of connecting up the electricity if you want to use an electric kettle and getting some water if you drive with an empty water tank. Or of course, your “outfit” may be led by an over-zealous “obergruppenfuhrer” who demands that all awnings etc. are “just so” before anybody is allowed to break out the “vittels”. My advice is to leave such people at home - or better still - at a motorway service station somewhere.

“safety”. Don’t lean over a live flame while recording a video. Did you mention the need for a carbon monoxide detector? Or did I miss that? Otherwise, helpful, as usual.
