Campervan Tailgate Shower Install With Privacy Campervan Shower Curtain Build

In this video I cover how I install a campervan shower in the tailgate of my VW T4 campervan conversion. The tailgate is the perfect location for a shower in a standard height van as the tailgate is high enough for even the tallest of people to stand underneath it and with the addition of 2x shower curtains sewn together to create a double width shower curtain, it also adds a degree of privacy to the tailgate shower. The tailgate shower is supplied from a 10l water container which is large enough for 2 quick showers and with the addition of some warm/boiled water to the container, it makes the water nice and warm and refreshing. Certainly an addition I would recommend if you have a tailgate.

Looks good mate..didn’t see this video when I started planning my shower. However I have done it more or less the same. I have run my hose inside the door and then inside the loom rubbers so none of the hose is visible. I like your shower curtain idea. I mate try magnets on the inside of the door card and then magnets on the shower curtain so hopefully it’ll attract together 🤞🏻

Missed your videos mate, this is a good idea, do you think the pipe will last though where it bends from van to tailgate? It might be worth adding a flexible hose to the bend to help it last longer. Good video again

The pipe will be fine, there is very little bend in it when the tailgate closes, certainly not something I'm concerned about put it that way
