Campfire Audio Holocene Review - Reference All BA IEMs - How do they sound?

I was kinda hesitant on these but you sold me on them for Jpop vocals. I agree with you on the having multiple iems for different types of music. The most expensive iems I have is the moondrop blessing 2 . So the holocene are going to cost me a lot. I have to start saving up.

I already have a pair of ER4SR that i love. Would you say these do anything better than those? Is this an upgrade, or more of a side-grade?

Totally different. These will have FAR more warmth and stage compared to the ER4SR which will have way more ear gain.

I listen to almost all genres of music but when I am out and about it's usually rock/metal. I suppose sometimes techno and classical. Of course other genres too if on shuffle play but those primarily. Which of the profiles should I get? To be honest, I do like loud and quite basey in my headphones, so I don't mind a bit of coloring in that department. Thanks!

Man. Campfire have the best style and unboxing in the game. It's too bad that nothing they make is compelling to me sound or price-wise. Thanks for the early review

The E series tips fit great but the absolutely destroy the soundstage on these. I’d definitely go wide bore foam.
