I live in Gastonia, NC about 25 minutes from Charlotte, NC. I live 4 hours away from the beach and 2 hours from the mountains, so a pretty nice area. I have finally found a new apartment and I have really prayed over this. I have been on a waiting list for 3 long years. I am so ready to move. I live in a senior apartment that is like a hotel. It is awful, you would think seniors would make good neighbors, maybe some would. I will be moving about 10 minutes away from where I live now, a new chapter in my life. Life has been hard since my mother's death. I hope things will be better for me and my cat. I love getting up early and seeing the sunrise. The colors of God's beauty is amazing. God is so good. The power of prayer is amazing. When you think that he is not listening he answers you. You have to be patient and he will answer your prayers when he thinks you are ready. God is amazing.

Every time I watch your videos I tell my husband I want to go buy an RV and travel. I’m finally back up on my feet again and almost back to 100%. It’s a slow process but I’m getting there! When we got our travel trailer about a year and half ago, we stayed there at the same camping pad y'all are camping on for our first camping trip with our kids. We enjoyed ourselves and have been visiting the smoky mountains for 24 years now. Townsend is our favorite place we like staying in the mountains. We live in Sandwich, MA, which the oldest town on Cape Cod. (Plymouth is no longer on Cape Cod since the two bridges were built.) Every town on the Cape has a story, and there are 40 miles of sea shore to explore. If you have ever heard the song by Patti Page, Old Cape Cod, it does not exaggerate. Maybe you all will come for a visit someday; it only takes 12 hours from Tennessee and you'll never regret your visit. I watch whenever you are on, and truly enjoy each segment.

Loved the little cabin too. We are lucky to live very close to the beach and ocean. But we love the Smokey Mountains and hiking too. So we usually take a vacation south to Florida and spend some time in the mountains of TN and NC in the summer and Fall. We keep adding to our list of little towns to visit based on your videos. Hi y'all. We live here in central IL surrounded by woods in the town my wife and I live in. I grew up in this town, Marquette Hgts, IL and there's plenty of woods to run threw and trails to hike. Other places we have here in our area is Detweiller Park with lots of different trails. Further northeast is Starved Rock State Park and Mathessen State Park. Both you can find online. We enjoy being out doors. We've been to the Smokey Mountains once and are looking to go back.

I have a cabin in Ellijay Georgia. I love and appreciate all the beautiful mountain ranges, and our beautiful downtown I purchased property in Glenville NC a couple years ago and looking forward to building my dream home there. Have you guys ever been to the New England area of the US? ( I am not from there). My husband and I took 2 weeks to travel there last year. There are sooo many awesome places to visit!!! We started out in Western Massachusetts and drove to Bennington, VT for the day. We were really wanting to see more of Vermont, but there was some serious flooding happening that limited our travel. Anyway, Highway 2 ( going towards Boston) was really neat with all the little towns and the coolest Flower Bridge!! We went in July and it was great. Since the states are up North, it doesn’t get real hot. Portsmouth, NH, Bar Harbor, ME and Newport, RI were our favorites. I know you love the Great Smoky Mountains, but that part of the US is amazing!!! It would also be neat in the Fall with all of that beautiful foliage!!! And you have to watch out for moose up there!!! Ha.

We love Townsend and just were there this past week always were looking for you guys...we went to trailhead steakhouse for our anniversary and they gave us cheesecake free for dessert and thought of you two,,, dogwood mall , The Abbey, peaceful social side , train museum, apple cafe... we stopped at the new welcome center to get our parking pass to hike at Elkmont..... Happy Birthday Mike and hope you had a Blessed day... that campground is just beautiful.... We live in Dayton Ohio and since we are retired we like to explore little towns around us... rolling hills and beautiful countrysides... I grew up in the Smokies, but I’ve lived in northeast Wisconsin for the last 20 years. Wisconsin is the second most beautiful state (next to TN). We have caves, cornfields and we’re surrounded by the Great Lakes. There are some beautiful spots in Wisconsin. There’s the Apostle Islands by Lake Superior, Door County surrounded by Lake Michigan and Cave of the Mounds is incredible. God’s creation is beautiful. There’s no place like TN. It will always feel like home. Thanks for the videos, I always enjoy watching. ⛺️☕️

Townsend is our favorite place to stay. It’s only 30 minutes to PF, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove. Check out Peaceful Side Restaurant or The Abbey! Great places to eat.

We live in middle of the Michigan. We are just a few hours from either coastline. There is so much natural beauty in Michigan. We especially love the Great Lakes we’re surrounded by. The most beautiful lake is inland called Torch lake, as clear blue as the Caribbean. We love Mackinac island, no matter how many times we go, it is always worth the trip. When we want to get away, we go to the smoky mountains.

From Michigan here - just about anywhere along any of the Great Lakes is a wonderful setting to behold, and the further north you go, I almost think the better it gets but even in the southern part of the state and inland there are many places along the way with lake settings that are peaceful and beautiful. Love your peaceful videos, just wish I could smell that hickory campfire through the video! I like watching you make your morning coffee and then sitting outside with it - just like the rain hitting your roof, so relaxing and enjoyable for quiet times.

Love this video , we stayed at Mountaineer campground back in 2009 and the first thing my wife said when she saw the river was" that's the river I almost lost my life In" . We tubed the river from the Y to the campground and let's just say it was a wild ride.

❤I am so happy that either y’all have returned to Townsend or maybe this is a video of that same visit. Either way I’m happy! Loved seeing familiar scenery! Tried to see I’d y’all passed the steak house my Grandma ran for a couple of years. The last time I was there the little steakhouse was a pizza place . Not sure of the name but it had 3 black bears on the front. As a child the restaurant seemed so big…..it truly is very small seeing through adult eyes. Your camping ground looks perfect. Love the sound of the water rippling. I learned to swim in the little river that runs through Townsend. 5th grade. Wish I were there with y’all! I love dogs and chili dogs! 😂😂. Kingsport, TN….love the beautiful mountains that surrounds us. Easy to make a day trip to the Smokies!

Thank y’all for this video…Townsend was one of my late wife Terri’s favorite motorcycle destinations…the ride from Cleveland to Townsend was always safe and enjoyable…I still have both of our bikes even though I’ve not ridden in a couple of years due to health issues…but I still have my memories …we were both born and raised in the metro Atlanta area and moved to the SE Tennessee area in 1986 by my job transfer with Norfolk Southern Railway…it was a Blessing from God…we were so blessed to raise our two daughters in such a beautiful part of the world with easy access to the mountains ❤️❤️❤️…We planed our honeymoon for Gatlinburg (without prior reservations) and being in October of 1971 we backtracked back to Maryville and found a motel on 411 with one vacancy open…the next morning we we inquired about where to find a good place for breakfast and a restaurant in Townsend was recommended (I can’t remember the name…but it was a rustic “cabin” on the right just before going into Townsend proper…it had a history with a family involved in moonshine but the food was excellent 😊😊😊…as a side note on October 27 1971, I had no idea that we would call the town of Cleveland Tennessee less than 20 minutes from Highway 411 off the road to Gatlinburg as our future home…Terri was able to take a position with the Cleveland “Opportunity For Adult Reading” and “Caring Place” to help out our community…nor that in April of 2017 Terri would be flown to another Cleveland in Ohio for emergency heart surgery…sadly it was not successful…but I cherished the time we had in one of the most beautiful parts of our country…again a BIG THANK YOU for your channel…it is my ASMR 😍😍😍…Winston is a living doll…he too is blessed to have dog parents such as yourselves…may God continue to bless all of y’all 🙏🙏🙏

We live near Stewart, Tn. Land between the Lakes is 175,000 acres to explore with lots of camping options. Love your show. We even got that small solo stove and enjoy it a lot too.

We are in south ga not far from jekyl Island to the east and Panama city to the west. We go south and in FL in 30 minutes. If we go north we can be in helen in about 4.5 hours. So we are in a good locale. Oh yea the town is hahira from a song by Ray stevens.

Living in Gaston county NC, we are close to so many getaways..Boone is just a 90 minute drive N of us. We are in a great central area of NC, living in the Piedmont region, makes for so many options for travel, whether a day trip, or vacation stay. We have plans to take a weekend trip to Mountain City TN in June. Never been there before. We’ll return to Garden City SC in October. Always a joy to watch your adventures..and now, even more so watching Winston grow..he is a cutie pie. God bless..

We live about 2 miles from Dale Hollow Lake. We love to camp. Our pug Otis, gained his wings last month, he loved to camp. He was 14 yrs. old. We sure do miss him. Safe travels.

Hi, about thirty minutes from me is the congress swamp. Beautiful walk way through the swamp. All kinds of wildlife to see. Hanging moss from the trees. That song you sang was what I used to tell my husband I had cancer. He was terminal with lung disease and the call came. I looked at his terrified face and sang, and the race is on and here comes Robin in the backstretch, David, had a little headscarf. His face went to disbelief then he looked up laughing and said Lord, this woman you gave me. My preacher told that story at his funeral.
