I used to love to go camping. We would cook ribeyes on a grill and they were so good. The food is so much better camping. I remember going camping as a Girl Scout and having a great time. I always LOVED doing somemores or even just marshmellows. The only thing I did not like was the SPIDERS, LOL. I am not a spider person at all. Lots of great memories camping. Thank you for sharing. I enjoy your videos so much.

Our family of five have been going to the Smoky Mountains since the kids were born. We always rent a cabin. This year we are camping for one night in a tent. Appreciate y’all’s camping video. It’s very helpful in planing. Your wife has a very pleasant way about her. Both of you do. God bless.

We have camped at the Mountaineer Campground several times. You're right, the staff are friendly. If it happens to be on a Friday when I camp there I go to the Rocky Branch school in the evening. There they have local musicians gather that play bluegrass music. All of the classrooms will have people "jamming". People are welcome to participate and listen. They have a place where a person can leave a donation but there is no charge. It was discontinued because of the pandemic but it may be revived by now. I haven't been there since the fall ot 2019.

I had to give up bread last summer…don’t miss it now..Almond flour and other offerings are available..like the egg white wraps..local Aldi carries here. My Rheumatoid Arthritis is gone…We haven’t camped since 2010..Would love to visit here..everything looks good y’all. God bless…🎄🎄🎄🎄

We stay at this campground and it’s very clean and peaceful. You need to be careful to have no food out as they do have bears that roam at night. This is our favorite place as we walk next door to get ice cream at Burger Master!

That’s right Mike setting up camp takes lots of energy. Oh the fun of coping off the data from the cameras each day. Nice camp, we love Townsend. $30 is a great price for a site. We love camping. Just got back from Myrtle Beach area camping for 2 weeks in a state park. Well not quite 2 weeks Ian chased us out. Ok Jim needs to figure out how to make gravy

I thought that I had seen everything since I grew up camping, but I had never seen someone use a power drill type tool to drive in their tent stakes haha. Impressive! Love this video! I think that this is my favorite of your videos so far. Nothing beats camping in the Great Smoky Mountains!

Thanks for sharing your video I always watch and love all your videos. And that sound of crickets at night is my favorite sound in the whole world. I've hiked and camped all over the North Carolina mountains in the Blue ridge parkway by myself or with my kids and I loved every minute of it. I love the mountains which is why I moved to Montana. But a piece of my heart will always be with the Great Smoky mountains and the Blue Ridge..

These videos really make me miss camping when I was more able-bodied and didn't have such limited mobility as i do now. We did end up going to Gatlinburg with a lot of your ideas last Sept.
