Camping & 4wding Marrangaroo N.P.- Lithgow- Lake Lyell- LandCruiser 76- ultimate camper.

Natasha and myself head to Marrangaroo N.P for a relaxing weekend camping on the back of lake Lyell on the coxs river, it does rain a fair bit but we still had a great time and cooked some great food.

Awesome trip with the Ultimate camper, loved all the different types of footage and the sound track with the drone flying over the river. The whole production was very professional mate.

Looks like a very relaxing weekend. Well done Shad. Keep up the good work picking up the rubbish, as we all should do. We dont want to lose access to these areas. I Like the innovative coffee table and cooking segments. Looks like you enjoyed quite a few hearty meals. I better get some of those recipes. The one pot / pan methods look like you have them well sorted!!

Thanks for watching mate, our little coffee table works well, they say everything should have 2 uses and i think we have that covered there. Simple meals work great for us but still like to make them a little interesting and we are always trying new things or adding something extra. It would be good if everyone could take just a little extra rubbish home then imagine how good these places would look although the people who don’t care far outweigh us at the moment 👍👍🤠

@@shaddonaghue Agree 100% on all counts. I am very happy to see Drifta issuing clean up bags, which I have a couple now, so we are well setup to reinstate the natural environment and keep the tracks open. I live and breath the approach that everything has multiple purposes in my camping and FJ Cruiser setup. I’m also trying hard to keep the weight down, and what weight I have is kept as close to the ground as possible. No lift, no winch & no bull bar. We’ll see how it goes as i get more adventurous on the tracks :-) Happy travels mate. Keep up the good work.

good spot, ive done that long crossing on dirt bikes,lake lyel is almost over. they doing some hydro thing there, where they suck the water out ever few hours to run a power station.

When you say lake lyell is over , you mean nearly empty??. I always ended up with wet boots when i used to ride up there , could never get through without putting a foot down 😂😂😂. Thanks for watching 🤠

@@shaddonaghue no its not empty, they are puting a hydro system there. it will be drained a few meteres down every few hours ...you can look it up. theres petitions to stop it, but as we know, govs do what they want. we dont have a say.
