Camping 8 Nights in Big Sur | Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park

It was INCREDIBLE staying in Big Sur!
So lucky we have booked 8 straight nights at Pfeiffer Big Sur SP💙
We went on April 2023, when highway 1 was partially closed,
were not able to reach some of the attractions because of the flood damage.

우리도 빅서에 갔었는데 캠핑장소를 구하지 못해 근처 Walmart parking 장에서 generator 틀어놓고 잔 기억이있네요.. 캠핑장이 아주 멋있습니다. 영상 공유해 주셔서 고맙습니다.

Hello! When I went to Big Sur, some part of the highway 1 was closed and it was during spring so not many people were visiting the place at the time and I was able to find few camping spots available.😄 It might be much harder now since it's almost time for summer . I don't know why I'm so bad at growing plants!😅 I baby them so much🤣

저도 발은 꼭 내놓고 자는데 반갑기도 하고 너무 웃겼어요 😂 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 슬리핑패드 사이즈와 후기 궁금해요!

슬리핑백은 Nemo disco 15 regular 사이즈 이고, 슬리핑패드는 EXPED DUO 10 LW+ 사이즈에요! R-value가 8.1 이라 그런지 추운겨울에도 텐트바닥 방한작업 딱히 안해주고 그냥 올려놓고써도 한기가 전혀 안올라와서 좋았어요. 겉면재질도 살에 닿았을때 나름 부드럽고 푹신한 느낌이라 저희는 따로 위에 시트 같은걸 안깔고 쓰는데 얼룩이 한번 지면 잘 안지워지는 재질이긴해요. 바람넣으면 두께가 가장 두꺼운 패드들 중 하나라서 확실히 편안함에서는 에어매트리스등 부피가 큰걸로 가는게 아닌이상 이패드보다 더 편한게 별로 없을거라 생각되요. 비슷한 편안함과 크기를 가진 제품으로 Thermarest Mondoking 3D 슬리핑패드 도 괜찮은 제품이라 생각하는데 저는 Exped 바람 넣고 빼는 방식이 좀더 편해서 Exped 제품으로 선택했어요. Thermarest 는 야전침대랑 사용하는 다른 모델 슬리핑패드(basecamp) 제품을 가지고 있는데 바람넣는 방식빼곤 제품 완성도, 겉면재질, 누웠을때 편안함에 있어서는 thermarest 제품도 다 만족하는편이에요~ Exped , Thermarest 두 회사다 슬리핑패드 제품을 주 로 만드는 회사라 저는 항상 믿고 구매해요 ㅎㅎ (라고 남편이 하네요 ㅋ)

How did you like site 177? You said it was sloped? I'm looking for a site in which I can fit a larger tent

It was little hard fitting Snow Peak's Long Pro at site 177. The ground was little sloped where you normally fit the tent so we had to fit our tent right next to a parking lot. It's a great site right next to the river but I would take a tent a size of under 12x12ft to avoid the sloped ground.

Weekends are hard to reserve so I normally schedule and reserve sites few months early.

Thank you! The lantern is Sofirn LT1S LED Camping Lantern.I think I bought it on amazon. It has so many features and the battery lasts so long. I think they have a taller model if you prefer.

What about accessible camping facilities that are accessible for those with physical disabilties?

I believe they had some wheel chair accessible sites and trails being a state park campground. 😄

Bathrooms were like 7~8 sites away from where I stayed.
