ARB twin is the fasted compressor with 100% duty cycle. Also, anything ever breaks on it, all parts are user replaceble.
@alsantos55183 жыл бұрын
Can you recommend and portable ARB that I can used for a Revel Sprinter 4x4 RV Van
@insaynbcr3 жыл бұрын
@@alsantos5518 Obviously if you want portability, and you need to give up some of the weight that the faster compressors inherently have there are other options that are sufficient but just not as fast or have the duty cycle of hard mounted ARB units. If weight and storage space isn't the deciding factor, then ARB products are still viable options. Now, VIAIR makes some really great compressors that are aimed more towards portable than being hard mount. The 400P is a solid unit for sure. There are also some Chineseium brands that work, but reliabilty and parts for service might be more difficult to source in the event of failure with the unit.

I’ll second the Viair choice. I bought one in 2003, use it frequently, still working well. I am currently airing up 265-70-17 BFG ATs. Have not timed it, but, works excellent. I did have to replace the coiled hose provided by Viair after 5 years. Will buy another Viair IF this one breaks.

I have been using a Viair 400P for a couple of years on our Jeep and RV. It works great and can air up my 33” tires in 10-15 min or so. ARB has some great options for single or dual compressors that can be vehicle mounted or in a case. They are a more pricey than the Viair, but both are great options! Just depends on what you want to spend.

What a difference. When I hike out west I have two hiking sticks (getting old), and wear jeans, high top hiking boots... and a 357 Mag with snake shot. But then again I was a Boy Scout and was military for 10 years. Only had to use the snake shot once, and not even for me. Heard a woman screaming and went to investigate. Her 12 year old son was standing stone still about twenty feet in front of her. As I moved forward and around to the side slowly, I could hear the rattle. One shot and that was that. It did take 30 minutes for mom to stop crying and let go of me though. Oh and, my vote is the ARB Twin. Will get four 33X12.50X15's up in a matter of minutes.
