Camping at Chain O Lakes State Park

This is a party park for people around Fort Wayne to invade. Stay away from the campground on the weekends if you want any semblance of quiet. It is a beautiful park otherwise, especially kayaking and canoeing. We go for the day during the week. By the time we canoe and hike to our hearts content, we are ready to head home. Just wish they had bicycle trails but the park isn't really suited for that. During the week, camping is much more enjoyable, with quite a few nice camp sites.

One more thing, the bathrooms at the campground needed to be replaced a long time ago. My grandson and I had to shower alongside the mouse that had made its home in there, but even aside from that, they are in need of being replaced.
