Camping at Kagga Kamma

I've always wanted to camp here, but more so photograph and capture the beautiful landscapes and unique rock formations.
This trip was one for the books, more so with the lovely company we had.
We stayed at the Swart Rug Campsite (we will definitely camp at the wild camp spots on our next visit - but it was fully booked this weekend)
The main campgrounds are made up of five stands, each accommodating a maximum of two or six guests.
We camped here for 4 nights and were joined by family from the second night onwards. We hiked the blue route an easy but beautiful route - this one has the most rock art and we explored the nature reserve.
On the last day, we made our way to the Tankwa Karoo Padstal for a lekker brunch before heading home

Hi , may i know if the tents are provided at the nature reserve or do we need to carry our own . Do you recommend to camp here with SUV vehicle (KIA Sportage). TIA

Hello, thank you for watching. No, you need to take your own tents. The roads are relatively in good condition when we visit. I'm sure you won't have a problem at all. Just make sure with Kagga Kamma after all the rain and flooding we had recently.
