Camping at Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Apple Valley, Minnesota - [Best of the Twin Cities]

Lebanon Hills Regional Park is a fun and unique feature of the Twin Cities South Metro. The park is nearly 2,000 acres and sits on the border between Eagan and Apple Valley, Minnesota. Among other things, Lebanon Hills Park offers swimming, kayaking, cross-country skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and camping.
Located just fifteen minutes from the Mall of America, this is the nearest campground to the mall, and is just as nice as Minnesota state park, just not as big. Bring your hiking shoes for walks along the miles of trails that run directly from the campground, or bring your mountain bike for one of the best mountain bike parks in the state, located just across the road.
In this video, we take a driving tour through the campground and RV area of Lebanon Hills Campground. First is the east loop, which offers private sites with gravel parking pads for campers under 24 feet and grassy areas for tenting. Next, we drive through the west loop, which has back-in sites and pull-through sites for campers and RVs of all sizes. The west loop sites have water, electric, and sewer, while the east loop sites only have electric.
In this video, we try to provide a good overall look at the campground areas as well as some more detailed looks at what the different types of sites have to offer.
