Camping at The Dig Tree on Cooper Creek in Outback Queensland

Camping at The Dig Tree alongside the beautiful Cooper Creek in the far south-west Queensland Outback is a MUST DO! In this video I take a drones-eye-view of the area and talk through the campsite and an itinerary for driving there. Watch through to the ending to see an EPIC sunrise over Cooper Creek. So much history in this area, including the infamous Bourke and Wills Expedition.

The road to the Dig Tree is horrific. Never again will I go there, it's not worth it.

Changes so much year to year. I find that’s part of what makes the corner country so good… it’s still remote and can be challenge to get to.
