Cool video guys! This will be my 20th consecutive year to camp! Pro-tips- 1.) Wear comfortable shoes to walk the campgrounds in if you're going walkabout, you can wear your fancy fair shoes inside the festival and take breaks as needed but it's still a lot of area to cover if you want to see the whole thing, so frequent stops inside the festival.(i recommend getting two sets of tickets one for Saturday and one for Sunday then breaking it up into two sections per day) OR find a clan/camp that is fun to hang with (like mine) and stay there most of the night and where your fancy shoes. The campground is more of a gigantic party. 2.) It's nice to have a quiet area to camp in but this experience is meant to be more visceral and adventurous to stay in the quiet family camping section. If you guys want a place to stay and feel safe in the regular campgrounds there are many clans that will offer you refuge lol. You just need to ask. There are a lot of clans filled to the brim so the best they may be able to do is on the outskirts of their borders, which is still a good deal if you ask me BC they're right there if you have questions or need help and then you can find the shade of an RV to put your tent in so in the morning your tent doesn't start heating up like a microwave. Also, i know they sound annoying at first but the generators actually become quite lulling haha. 3.) There are specific (epic) events every weekend that some clans put on. Normally call of booty will do something every Saturday, Bondage camp comes one weekend out of the season and you guys may not be into it, i know i wasn't at first but it was still an intense experience that changed my perspective on the whole scene, there are huge parties thrown by individual clans every single weekend with different themes, so, you just need to ask around for information. Anyone at the call of booty merch area, most people hanging by the bonfire, any of the large clans that are all lit up with something intriguing you to come into their camp go in there and make new friends, ask about the events of that weekend. 4.) This is all about meeting new people and making new friends, go from camp to camp, make jell-o shots to giveaway to people you meet, do something fun and wild! Something you wouldn't normally do in ordinary life. It's an adventure! Oh and the food inside the festival is pricey but soooo good. Try Notorious BLT, the entire polish area is great, if you can swing it try the kings feast, it's entertaining and the food is dank! If you have any questions I'm always more than happy to help just comment back.

Great info!! We have been going several years now and still finding out new information. We have made a few good friends in our time spent at TRF and the campgrounds. We were even invited to stay with a clan this year, which we did and had a great time. Looking forward to the upcoming season!!

Excellent! I watched some of your newer videos and it seems you have found Faire footing lol. This place is my annual getaway, and the people there are what makes it so worth the trip and money. Hope to see yall this year! Maybe we can romp around together for a bit and I can show you some good people and make some new friends and amazing memories together, which, in my opinion, is what this festival is all about.

I can see our Clan Party Tent at 1:33 on the far right side. The purpleish blue tent with the green laser lights. Haha, did y'all by any chance get to come see Two Orcs One Chalice? We were the guys with 1,150 jello shots?

No, but we only heard about the clans this year. My husband has been asking around because we were interested in them.

Tons of clans. Most are probably unofficial, like ours, and small but there are around 30 official clans that go out there every weekend. Many of them you can join pretty easily. Our clan is growing drastically, this was only our 2nd year going, as a clan, and we had probably 300 random people come party at our campsite throughout Friday night alone.

Was this very expensive to pull off?
@theweekendwanderers3 жыл бұрын
We had most of the camping supplies already, so this was no more expensive than any other camping experience for us. I know that the fee for camping at TRF has gone up this year. We went ahead and bought our camping passes early during the Sale of the Century. But I think at the gate they will be charging by person this year instead of vehicle.
