Camping in a Blizzard, Deep Snow, Strong Winds in our Crua Insulasted Tent!!

This video gave us a little taste of mother nature and it's challenges. We had never camped in a blizzard before. We had to battle 12in of snow fall, 40 miles hour winds and extreme cold. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun!

Wow! I checked that area of Idaho out … over 6,600 square miles of just mountains, lakes, trees, wildlife and glorious camping opportunities. That’s almost eleven times the size of Greater London. You sure are fortunate to have access to such an abundance of the best all year round recreation … it would be a sin not to take advantage of it all. I hope your channel grows. Just keep going and don’t get discouraged by the know alls who will relish pointing out any mistakes that you might make. Best of luck to ya!

This video is so much fun. Dont get to laugh much watching winter snow camping. But guys this was brutal on you? That wind was crazy. Cant wait to watch the rest. Stay warm and dont burn up.

Much respect! Suggestion: Purchase a 10 x 14 foot camping tarp that you can peg down and use guylines for extra stability. Set up low and put up your tent under half - other half for protective outside seating.

I love those soups at the beginning but they’re so high in sodium. Then you went another one of my favorites, those Jalapeño sausages. I love how you put 2 or 3 on one roll. Even though that wind in snow is a lot to deal with, it still seems relaxing. Especially when you’re in the tent and sitting next to the fire. Great video guys

The Crua tent we have is not a hot tent. We were referring to our future hot tent. We are planning on purchasing a hot tent soon. Thank you for watching!

That ain't fun hanging out outside during a blizzard, I know I've done it before a lot of times, I If I was ever to do it again I'd definitely be in a hot tent with enough lumber for a few days

Totally agree. Honestly we were very surprise the Grua tent held pretty good in those conditions. We are definably looking forward for our hot tent.

Don't mean to be a stick in the mud but have you ever heard the term "leave no trace" when your camping. Throwing bottle caps into the fire is totally uncalled for when your in the wilderness.
