We travelled to Chamba to see the fair organised by Himachal Tourism. The weather was not in our favour. Many performaces were staged two days back so we missed the traditional dances etc. After finishing dinner we walked to our camper that was parked in a Police ground where we had paid Rs 60 for overnight parking. Around 10pm the rain started and increased to an extent that at one point we were frightened that we do not end up facing disaster. As time went by we felt asleep and when we woke up in the morning it was still raining. We were not sure what to do as if we close the wet tent it could develop mould. But the challenge was that the weather app was showing rain throughout the day. We arrived to a decision that we pack the tent and move ahead. Once done we started our journey and on the way we faced land slides, heavy fog and clouds. With easy driving we reached Jot area where we halted for a cup of tea.
