Just found out your channel yesterday, have already watched some of your videos, I enjoy them a lot. You impress me the way how you used the dead trees to build your shelter, not like other KZbinrs who chop down trees for building. I appreciate the way how you treasure the nature, keep it up. Kiitos!

How can you say it's waterproof with all those gaps?
@AgeofTheNorth
@AgeofTheNorth Жыл бұрын
The gaps are only visible from a side-view. The water flows from one board and falls onto the next because of they are stacked onto each other. Of course it is not 100% waterproof, but much better than any of my other shelters

Lucas please tell me cause I'm really curious of that - are you somehow connected with or coming from Saami people? You really look similar to them and well you're an original Finn by having not bright blonde hair. I'm really interested in that, don't take it as me being overly intrigued or trying to laugh at something. I loved the episode like always. You were really lucky to find those long pieces that you could use for the roof mostly. Nice to see spring coming to Finland finally ❤️

I have not checked my exact genetics. I only know they are good haha My parents are from southern and eastern Finland. Some Swedish ancestry is there because my fathers line have been Swedish speaking Finns
@Vekhh
@Vekhh Жыл бұрын
@@AgeofTheNorth Well I'm also not a genetics expert and not Saami expert but I just saw a few elements that light that bulb for me when I first saw you - the hair colour, especially the nose shape and somewhat your eyes shape and overall your face design, shape. And that you're rather short and get buffed when getting more muscles, not taller. I dunno why it got me so intrigued, well Finnish people as well as Saami interest me really much. Don't worry if that's not how you wanted to look at yourself - vikings were afraid of Finnish ppl after all haha. Perkele! Also about that Swedish speaking Finns ye I've heard of them, you have even some special word for them. Were you taught Swedish because of that or were you talking Finnish in your family? I hope you're doing well and you're not that tired or worried cause in one moment in this video you looked bit drowning in some thoughts or just tired. Cheers and wishing you all the best, thanks for answering ❤️
