CAMPING IN TOBAGO | 4 NIGHTS | BUCCOO BEACH | DAY 1

Welcome back to our channel . We trust that everyone is well at this time. Today's adventure takes us to Tobago on a 4 night camping mission. We first visited Fort King George for some sight seeing and then headed down to the first beach we camped on. We based on different beaches and locations along the Northwest coast of Tobago starting with Buccoo Beach. Buccoo beach is one of the calmest and more blue beaches on the coast with crystal clear water. This beach allows you to choose any spot along the coast and park your car right on the beach itself. We had a blast camping here and we hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed this adventure!! As always guys! stay safe and stay adventurous!!!

The last time I was on Buccoo beach in the early 2000s it did not have that road and it was all bush! My local friends told me that I was crazy going there because bandits used to hide in the bush and rob visitors once they went in the water and if you tried to stop them a machete was their deterrent! Now that it is obviously commercialised with amenities such as bins and a road, my question is: Is there any security and if so does it continue into the night? I spent many years visiting Tobago from Sweden and always living in Buccoo but there came a point where we tourists were being targeted and I just could not put my family in danger anymore! So , after many years away I am desperate to return because it is my second home. I am watching all the popular T&T KZbinrs researching the progress that is hopefully being made in curbing crime, so that I can return asap! You guys do not make it easy to stay away!👏🏾👍🏾🙏🏾😂 🇬🇧

Wow so much info. Thanks a lot for the comment. Yes crime is a struggle in our islands. We would like to think that Tobago may be more safe than trinidad to do such things in public, but we are never too certain. I guess we take chances and go with God and all turns out well. Hopefully it will always be that way. We can say though that there was no security on any of the beaches we camped on . That being said , nobody harrassed us. Infact we were there alone, not a soul in sight when the night came. Let's hope we can all take these chances for a fun adventure and be safe.
