Well done in promoting our culture! Truly, there is no place like the land of of our birth! I was also born in Tobago and lived there until the age of 7 when my parents moved to Trinidad. I returned to Tobago as an adult to teach for about 10 years until 2014, and it was one of my BEST experiences! Now, my husband (who is also from the USA) and I visit regularly, and we will most likely be relocating to Tobago in the near future.

Tobago is beautiful. Lived in Barbados for a while and love being there. Always wanted to visit Tobago but never did. I stopped traveling many years ago. God willing hopefully sometime soon. Older now so like I said hopefully sometime soon. Beautiful. Gods continued blessings. 😊

@jennalud4748 Parlor food is like food from the little shop in the community that sell sweets candy tin of mackerel sardines bread cornbeef. etc etc. Tobago people pride themselves on preparing food from scratch or from their garden not a quick fix meal from the Parlor ( shop) on the corner.

My childhood come back to life (not a trinbagonian but my "auntie and uncle" are and I spent so much time with them growing up. They took me to Sangre Grande, Trinidad when I was small).
