With everyone still on #stayathome orders, here's another backyard recipe that you can make at home or while camping. New Orleans style Trout Amandine. Enjoy!
(edit: I forgot to show myself seasoning the trout with salt and pepper before dipping in the batter, so be sure to do that.)
Ingredients:
6-8 filets of speckled trout (Or any fresh trout will do.
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
salt and pepper
1 cup of almonds (some are for the crust and some are for the topping)
1 lemon
1 handful of Thyme
1 stick of butter
olive oil
