Fun vid mate, I must say that is a cool set up, I scoffed when I first saw a Dakar, but I have come round to thinking they certainly have a place in the Porsche 911 line up, travelling round and camping with one would be absolute gold!

Yep..you folded that away pronto and went to the dog friendly spa hotel 😂 I have a roof tent. It is excellent. It lives in my workshop and has only seen the roof once. Enjoyed the vid as always. Nice nod, good humour…. Love the Mrs. Totally ignoring it too. 😊

That A LOT for a roof tent with a Porsche badge on it I’d definitely save a few quid and go aftermarket for probably a quarter of the price

The idea of being able to go anywhere and have the camping option is intriguing, but the limited run of these cars and the cost (quarter mil) puts it in a niche bracket and not sure who would go for it. Having said that, it is very well made and easy to use, I would suggest more of a well heeled young persons plaything if you can afford it 🤪

Been in a mates Dakar , really impressed. Deliberately added NVH to give it some drama / engine note. Despite tyres, didn’t feel wallow-ey Porsche needs to make Dakar height an option, even if it wasn’t air suspension Be great for our increasingly 💩 roads
