Hello Keith, I enjoy your videos. I have a GMC 2500 (8’ bed) with a Leer topper; love exploring and camping in it. I am from the North Alabama area and I am making a list of new places to explore from your vids 😀 Thanks!

Hey thanks Kent that is encouraging! An 8' bed would be nice for camping. I used to visit Huntsville and a few places in Alabama when I live in TN. Let me know if you have any questions about the areas I camp.

Nice trailer the 1 I bought also had bunk beds and like you I took the top 1 out. Are you going to put your diesel heater in this 1. I tried 2 places 1 threw the outside cargo door but that was right outside were I sleep an the noise was to much.So I moved it up front and ran it threw the window. Works great I can't wait for winter to return so I can use it again. We can't have campfires cuz were drier then a popcorn fart.

I thought about leaving the diesel heater outside and running the duct hose through the hinged window using a panel in place of the window. Pretty dry here too. All the streams are low around here due to lack of rain. Stinks not being able to have a camp fire when camping!

Great video and thanks for the CG review. We love the BRPKWY and have camped numerous times at the Pisgah CG. It's right across from the Pisgah Inn. I need to check this CG out I like the openness of the sites which allows for solar to recharge my battery bank. Also how do you fold the Murphy bed down with the Futon sitting in front of it? Do yourself a favor and apply Crazy Seal to your RV's roof you won't regret it as your rig ages!

I have been to the Pisgah campground but never camped there. Is it good for RV camping? I also used my 100 watt solar panel to top off batteries there at Doughton Park. The sofa folds down flat and the Murphy bed lays over it. I keep the RV under a shelter but very interested in keeping that roof in good condition. Thanks for the tip!

@@geenote Yes, they have an area for RV's! If I remember they're not as nice as the sites at Doughton. The tent sites however are somewhat small and cramped. I have a 10 X 14 Springbar tent and it wouldn't fit on their tent pads!

@@alanosborne1947 Some of the Doughton Park sites are a little cramped but still a peaceful place to camp.

Looks like a great family camper-Don't make that Chev. P/U moan like a big dog when You go up one them Blue Ridge Mtns. does it? Keith You make Me hungry every video You cook in. Here's a recipe for You to try. Get some good lean hamburger, wrap it in tin foil and let it cook in it's own juices. When it's done cooking, take Your Hamburger bun and put some peanut butter on the bottom bun. Put your hamburger on the bun and add a slice of tomato and a leaf of lettuce on top of the Hamburger. Take the top bun and add Mayonaise to it. Put it on the Hamburger. You'll never be the same after You eat this, It's Just that good.

I recently replaced the radiator with an aluminum performance radiator and it stays extra cool going up those steep and slow mountain roads. I like peanut butter but never had it on a burger - I might give it a try! Thanks!

@@geenote Keith, I got so excited telling You how great the peanut butter burger is, I forgot to tell You to make a Hamburger patty about I/2 to 3/4 of an inch thick and about the size of Your bun around. Then put it in the tin foil and cook it thoroughly on a grill. It will probably work in open coals like You bake fish too.
