Before it was haunted, it was a bridge built in 1852. Sach’s bridge is a “Town Truss” bridge, which is a lattice-like bridge. Almost ten years later, it became an important bridge during the Civil War. On July 1st, 1863 the bridge was crossed by I Corps of the Union Army marching towards Gettysburg. Just four days later, much of Robert E. Lee’s Army would retreat back over the bridge after the Union victory in the Battle of Gettysburg. But not every Confederate soldier made it safely across the bridge. Rumor has it that three Confederate soldiers who had attempted to desert during Gettysburg were found and cut here. Perhaps even more interesting is that there is another rumor that these alleged Confederate soldiers were not deserters at all, but spies. Although neither story has been totally verified, many people who have had experiences at the bridge report hearing battle fire, screams of people that sound as if they’re being wounded and killed, and others have even reported seeing full-bodied and uniformed apparitions of these soldiers! Even more, mention feeling cold spots and even seeing a strange, dark, and unexplainable mist.

With the lady from the tin shop being there, to the names John & Gilbert, spirit talker saying stomach problems and then you getting scratched & sick! So scary and we like to see you having fun, getting cool results and enjoying yourself...we don't like to see the spirits or entities hurt/harm u! While many of the haunted locations throughout Gettysburg get plenty of attention, the Sachs Covered Bridge has become an icon and hot spot for otherworldly sightings and paranormal encounters. Its captivating beauty further draws outsiders to experience its mysterious charm. In the daylight, the bridge is truly a picturesque scene, with stunning streams of water and elegant wooden construction. Once under the cover of night, however, the atmosphere quickly changes to a rather frightening setting. Many witnesses have come forward to report the sighting of three disembodied heads floating on the bridge. Under the dim moonlight, their pictures have captured what appears to be the ghostly apparitions of the three Confederate soldiers. The strong scent of cigar smoke has also been detected by guests, as if a soldier or general from years ago still patrols the area. Visitors have also been rattled by a tap on their shoulder, only to find that no one is there with them. The sound of distant gunfire is heard when on the bridge at night. This could easily be attributed to someone hunting in the nearby woods, but those same gunshots are often accompanied by cannon fire.

Do the Estes Method the next time you go, I got crazy responses. While on the tour, my mom recorded it on the voice box and the audio got corrupted. Also, I took some pictures with my phone camera and I caught some things. It was a crazy night. At the Eisenhower Bridge my mom and us kept seeing a shadow run pass the cars. And a spirit kept playing with the interior lights of another car. Three times her car lights came on. Her husband put the keys on the bridge to prove it wasn't him. I swear to god this all happened

Hey Moe and Carlito and Shad🖐 the bridges is so creepy and haunted and the forest too and the second bridge where you got scrached on your neck, was really terrifying 😱 i could see how deep the scratches was on your neck Moe and you have right, you have showed many scraches before, but I have never seen a scrach mark like that before and the glowing eyes in the forest was so scary and I wonder, what it was?
