Love the video Kelly! Me, my husband and our daughter camp quite a bit and we love it. Our favorite place to camp here in Virginia is Claytor Lake State Park. We love making S'mores. You really need to try rolos instead of Hershey bars. Also the fudge stripped cookies are good in the S'mores. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures!❤ 🏕

Fun Video, I love the Springs we have in Florida. The water is chilly when you first get in but I only wear a wetsuit when cave diving because its refreshing in the heat of summer. I hope you guys gave the starving kitties some of that meat or eggs.

I would say this camping trip / date went pretty good, if your going to be hiking to your camp site destination, gather the firewood and cover it with a small tarp to keep it dry, it really makes a difference when you need a fire to stay warm or boil water / cook the meal.

A good fire and S'mores are definitely an indicator of a good trip, but some intimate time and a cuddle with rain on the tent is also hard to beat. Especially with some thunder/lightning! Embrace the weather and make of it what you can. I actually have a bit of a problem, if I wake up to rain pattering on the tent, my eyes usually just roll back into my head and sleep more. That water is beautiful. We have a few springs like that in Oregon, but the water temp is a WEE bit colder. Something closer to ice than room temp. Usually too cold for fish to live in, but at least one I know of has a few trout swimming around. Edit: Camp kitties! Can't beat that! lol

Hi Kelly love the video one thing you could do when you're camping that helps a lot is find a 10 by 12 tarp put your tent between two trees Ronnie rope over the top and the tarp will keep the rain off yours also gives you shade during the day one thing that is cheap I always bring camping with me too the great job love that Clearwater in the springs I will be going there myself one day thank you for the video

Raised not to far from there. Use to visit quite often and loved the place. Taking the canoe out and down the run was amazing. I would recommend visiting Juniper Springs just up the road and to the west.
