Hello from Germany! This is the first video I´ve seen, how to camping with unpacking and build up the equipment. Also back packing als utilities an load the bike. All others show only what they have for a journey. You show what is really going up when you arrive your camping place. I ´m interesting how much time you need for unpacking and build up. Also all these things build down and ready to start going on with the bike. Greate job! I love it. And I wait for the next video! Greetings from Germany ... Joachim

Thank you for watching the video I’m glad you liked it. I love Germany I haven’t been there in a while but I would like to visit again. I think planning and packing for the trip takes me the longest. Once I arrive at the camp site if I wasn’t filming it would probably take me thirty minutes to set up camp. And the trip to the campsite and leaving the campsite takes a lot of time because I’m using multiple GoPro cameras, drone and my main Canon camera to film. Thanks again for watching and I will have another video uploaded soon.

Depends on what type of gear you are carrying, some gears are easy to pack, some that even house your motorcycle are not so easy to pack, also, he was not camping in increment weather, rain and mud would make it more difficult to back. The more you solo camp, the better you will get. Riders who only camp doing the Alaska trip are the most efficient ones. I am yet to plan my solo Alaska as it takes a minimum of 30 days for me from the State I live in the US.

Great video. What kind of weird forest has palm trees mixed with conifers? Holy moly, my whole camping kit weighs 36 lbs and I thought that was heavy. I have the Giant Loop Great Basin with two possible pouches and the rogue dry bag, more than enough.

Very cool watching your video as I sit here in Reno NV watching 4 inches of snow coming down. We have a lot of the same gear; I love the lone rider tent. So, much so I bought the larger version as well. I am too lazy to bring all that cooking gear and food. I just use freeze dried meals as it's quick and simple for me and the way I like it. My first trip on my GSA took me from Reno to Lake Superior and back, 22 days and just over 5000 miles September of 2022. Main goal of the trip was the BMW Rawhyde course in Colorado. Absolutely fantastic, worth every dime. Had to deal with a lot of rain through Yellowstone on the way home but, it was worth it. In the long run it’s just part of the adventure. I have the BMW soft pannier bags but, they have been replaced with a set of Lone Ryder semi rigids, and the overlander. Best thing I could have done IMO. One takeaway from my experience through Rawhyde and the experts, so I will share their wisdom. When I pulled in, the instructors, very politely, all told me the same thing. Dude, you have way too much stuff stacked way too high on that bike. I found this advice to be spot on. Hence the change of panniers and now the bike handles like it should. Consider me subscribed.

Thank you for commenting and watching the video. I also want to get the Lone Rider Moto Tent someday, just need to save some money. I ordered the Lone Rider Moto Bags and they should be arriving soon. And I will be trying a new tent on the next video so let me know what you think after watching. I bent up the left pannier on my bike before this video so I couldn’t put much weight in it. Hopefully the Lone Rider Moto Bags will help. And that’s awesome that you took a 22 day trip and completed the Rawhyde course. I would love to do that some day. Thanks again and stay warm in Reno.🥶

Great first video. I hope to watch many more. Looks like your BMW needs new rings, it was smoking like a 2 stroke at 2.50.
