My first ever filmed camping trip and my first ever camping video on KZbin. I apologize in advance for any editing issues. :) I may get around to talking eventually but for now, it's silent videos until I gain some confidence. Fishing, wood prep, fire starting, nice views, I tried to include it all. This was filmed on location @ Goshen Pond Campground, primitive campsites located in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. I hope you enjoy my creation.
P.S. I injured my back in the morning shortly after that cup of coffee and had one heck of a time packing up. I wasn't able to record after the injury. No fish or wildlife was injured or eaten in the making of this film. :)

I recently moved to New Jersey, and I am looking forward to camping in the Pine Barrens later in the spring. Thanks for sharing.

Small hint. Don't let the tent footprint extend past the edges of the tent. In the event of rain it will funnel water under the floor of the tent. Learned from experience

Some constructive criticism here: I liked when you said "Let's go fishing" and showed me what you caught so I felt liked you shared the moment with me. You can do that more by sharing why you picked this park, the gear you have, how the food tastes. I just want to see more of that personality of yours.

There was another solo camper and a couple nearby, I haven't heard any coyotes in this area any of the times I camped here. I'm pretty sure it is relatively safe.

I've heard coyotes in Whiting for years but have yet to see one. Last year a Fox kitted across the street. I've heard they do that because the coyotes avoid us and the foxes use that.

Drive to the parking lot, then hike to campsite. You would probably have to carry the kayak for a short distance.

You can drive pretty close and park your vehicle and carry your things a short walk away. I'm not sure about site #14. Maybe you could take a drive to the campground and scope it out in advance. 😀 Sorry I couldn't offer more help...Loud & Local

You had to walk in? You couldn't drive your car to the site?
@LoudandLocalExploreEverything

No, this is a primitive campsite, you can park outside of the actual camping area and walk to your site. It's not that far but could mean a couple of trips if you have alot of gear.
