Is there any support for the foot of the bed ? Is the bed platform actually for a queen bed but they just use an oversized mattress?

Can you confirm the ceiling height clearance when the beds are up? Over 74” of clearance was mentioned but I would like to know for certain because that’s not high enough for most SxS’

I will verify with the mfg and find out. However, bear in mind that the sofas can be stored against the walls so you have more height. Chris is 6'2" tall, so you should be fine if you store them that way. I will reach out and verify for you though. -Ian Baker

I reached out to the Alta rep and he mentioned that the best use of space is to have the sofas up against the wall instead of lifting them up. That will give you 84" of height (to the bottom of the top bed) and you should still have plenty of width for a SxS. Hope that helps! -Ian Baker

Would love to see this model in a lower profile. We need a unit less than 12 feet height including a/c. Storage in our area have 12 foot openings.
