Number 4 would be my choice of camp site . 😊

Two was a good compromise. Four would be fine if you had help to cart your stuff up that trail. Thanks for doing this.

My wife and I are in agreement. 4 would be our favorite. 2 would be our 2nd choice. 1 and 3 would not be options for us. Since we basically do all our camping with our backpacking gear, we don't mind the short hike in and out. All of our gear is easily carried on our backs. We love the state forest campsites! They were free a few years back but still a great price for what they are. Our favorite state forest is bald eagle state forest. It would take you forever to record every site there. We've stayed at many different sites there. We live close to forbes state forest and have stayed at all 5 of their sites.

Wow, I have so much respect for you guys. I love camping but I’m such a wimp I have to stay in a camper. Don’t feel safe unless I have a door to lock. 😂

@SharonPadget Funny thin is, we find most campers are "too big" for us to camp in. Here is where it gets really funny. We actually live in a camper! We have a beautiful piece of land in the woods with a very large pond literally 8 feet from our deck. So, camping to us is much more primitive than others. Oh, and not to make you feel unsafe. But, bears can easily get into a locked camper, lol.

Actually more afraid of people than bears 😂. I’ve had a few bear encounters while hiking before. They don’t bother me.

I would go with #3 because you can actually pull your vehicle down into the site. You could either pitch a tent or sleep inside your car.

Ease of access would certainly sway my decision but the spot would have to be attractive also. Informative video. Makes me wish my hubby and I still had our truck camper.

Did you notice that there was a tent across from site 1 also. We're they using both sides of the road? Site 3 was too close to the road. 4 you would definitely need a wagon and there looked like a trail through the top of it. Trails mean people and Id be uncomfortable with people hiking past my secluded site. 2 was my favorite, although the logging trucks might be noisy. 2 had just the right amount of seclusion. I enjoy these look see videos. My ex and I used to do it through state parks when open. I miss that.😢 I'm glad I can go with you. Stay safe.❤❤❤❤❤

cliff, I live in the Pacific Northwest and trees are big and tall, 100 to 150 in some areas. That's usually np problem, but we are prone to high winds at times and running or hiking or camping could be dangerous., especially if the weather gets blustery suddenly. Probably not a concern where you are but worth keeping in mind. Cheers, Rik Spector

For me I like #4. I love the remoteness of it and the peace and quiet and for me, I wouldn't mind the walk.

nice campsites. would look better if the trees were more in Spring bloom. Lot of driving though, to get to the sites. BUT, these are essential....essential Campsite reviews we need to see.

I certainly would not be hiking that far to the campsite with all my gear. Why is there so few campsites in a huge area? I like no. 2
