Your tent looks really nice would love to have a Coleman one. Ask for Pine-Sol it also helps deter flies away and mouthwash is supposed to deter mosquitoes. And as for wings always go with fresh if you can find them. They taste better and they cook up crispier. Dry them off before you cook them and sprinkle them with whatever kind of seasoning you like. I use seasoned salt and garlic powder. Tastes great with ranch dressing to dip in or hot sauce if you prefer. Watching your video right now enjoying it so far. Just subscribe to your channel too. God bless

It's better than having "It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood" stuck in there. If you are being really annoyed by someone who won't stop it, stick that in their mind. It's mild psychological warfare at its best. Just sing that a few times around them and you're set. Let the fun begin. They get real mad when they can't stop singing it. I like to sing my warped version of Barney's "I Love You" song too because it's as bad if not worse than the other one I mentioned.

It's so unusual ,it is really a good thing to find a lady Bigfoot researcher saying what you just said. I've been at this work for more than 48 years I'm 78 but I'm not an old man I'm too unusual for that. I'm a professional tracker I track the Selahtick First Nations People and have a channel on KZbin called slice-and-dice I'm on the on the net for only one reason that's to find a way to cause people 2 train to be safer in the wilderness. So far as I can tell practically nobody is doing any of this stuff that they do right I have never met or seen or talked to or interviewed even one person that has any training whatsoever that has given them the proper attitude to interact with the Selahtick People. You two are very personable and very able to be a communicator on video and I'm quite impressed with the knowledge that you have gained thus far it's obvious that you have done your digging into the subject well and at least seem to have have realized some facts that few know so I would like to make a suggestion to you just to keep you a little bit safer get some training. People go into the woods and they bang on trees not knowing what that means to the critters with the big feet. Of course they have their rational minds and they make all sorts of guesses and imagine that they have the right answer and have figured out what that means to the people that they're looking to see. Meanwhile it means something entirely different to the to the first people that were the original occupiers of the lands that you are camping and looking for bigfoot. Play play harmonicas and they play banjos and they saying and cavort and yelling the night and try to imitate the sounds of the Sasquatch and bang rocks together ...... and they still don't know what any of that means to the Sasquatch. What would you do if all of a sudden in the night 3 or 4 Sasquatch walked right into your Camp silently and stood their ground and let you come out of your tent by making just a few small sounds that they figured would wake you up? What exactly would you do? Would you consider speaking? Exactly what would you say? How do you know what your voice, your tone of voice, your movements, your posture, your mannerisms, your inflection, how would the emotional content convey to them, and before all of this deciding isn't the first thing that you're going to think of is that somehow maybe they can read your mind or put a thought in your mind or somehow control You by mind control or infrasound or any other wild and wooly out there in the extremes of of Technology and scientific theory and frankly a southern take on everything that they have heard. I tried to find these Critters all over the South and darn near every County in every state particularly oklahoma-texas Louisiana and I even went up north into Colorado where I used to spend a lot of time as a youngster on family vacations and so far I have found absolutely zero evidence that there was ever be any Sasquatch found in those areas. Here's the reason I think why I must admit I can't prove it. It just makes sense... anyone that is lived in Missouri or Kansas or Arkansas and those are are also states that I spent a lot of time in looking for these people but if you've ever been there and tried to lay down on the grass to enjoy a picnic shortly afterwards you discovered what a CHIGGER was ! It is not a pleasant experience. It's a microscopic spider that lays its eggs in your skin right under the dermal layer they do it because it's a Dandy Nursery for their brood of thousands of microscopic crawly spiders let's come popping out of your skin and growing in front of your eyes to the size of a gnat. Add to that the ticks, fleas, snakes by the millions all deadly which these People are smart enuff to avoid like the plague. Then consider the humidity and the temperatures and all that furry fuzzy hair doctors and hospitals are far and few in between for these folks you know they don't even have Backwoods medicine they don't have any medical schools they don't have any medical insurance.... so what's the point of this the point it is people use their minds as their Major Tool in life you can live life much better if you live a life of training the only tool that you ever consider as a Major Tool and the major tool that you use is there work on yourself that you have done over a lifetime of training to learn everything that you do not know about everything that you seek you already know about your purely five physical body senses. That is not a play on words it's a factual statement of what everybody needs to do that has any interest in Sasquatch and wants to go in the woods looking for em! Hey y'all, in reference to 33:08 the reflectors. While scouting, I mark a trail with the reflectors, thusly never having to disturb that area during daylight again during the season. I can then go back to the area weeks/months later & safely move to & from my hunting spot under the concealment of darkness, causing the least amount of disruption (It's how I use'm). - Godspeed

I read a lot of Bigfoot encounter stories. As you were singing your amazing 💩song, I began reflecting on those stories of how many people have encountered Bigfoot by pulling off the road or Freeway, walking "that certain" distance into the woods, then finding just the right spot. These stories are all pretty much the same, either they see a head peeking out from behind a nearby tree, or they are so "involved" that they don't notice until the creature is very nearby, out in the open, watching them do their business with curious fascination. 😉😊👣. Bigfoot are a little weird.

Back in the early 80's I read an article about large rodents in south america that had hollow fur. When it looked right at you you could see it but if it turned 1/4 turn away the fur reflected light and it seemed to disappear. About 8 years ago I saw a video that talked about that rodent and compared it's fur to that of bigfoots fur/hair. They said that bigfoot had the same type of fur/hair and that if it turned the right way could seem like it disappeared. If that is the case it could be right next to you and you would never know it. There are many animals that have a cloaking or camouflage that is beyond what we understand.

Great video guyz! I was hoping the park was in Va., Closer to me. Had a 3 foot stomps episode beyond Damascus VA., that shook the ground and woke me up! Paranormal? Yes and there are many footprints found that just stop for no reason. In an open snow covered field, where they just stop. Where did they go?? With all our technology and efforts of many, we haven't captured one. It's not going to happen. There's been some pics of them morphing to invisible, where you could see thru. Dr. Matthew Johnson (famed bigfoot researcher, have his books)who is 6'10* and over 250lbs heard one, walking breaking sticks, etc. and it bumped into him, he was knocked out of the way like a little kid. The passive way is better, for sure. The "hunters" might hear a tree knock or two, but they will never see one. For me earlier in the day I felt like someone was watching me. Never felt that in over 50yrs of camping. I've been hooked ever since and later learned about the foot stomps...

Just a note re: Pine-Sol. Maybe be a bear deterrent (not sure about that) but it is a great mosquito repellent. Use undiluted direct to your skin and mosquitoes will not bite. However if you have sensitive skin I would not use it as a mosquito repellent, at least not undiluted. I have never put it on my face either as mosquitoes are not drawn to my face. Would definitely not apply it there

Ive heard several descriptions of a "musky" odor, very heavy. Rather like a hot and "sweaty horse". Heh... yes bud. Fire is normal. You see, those mantles in that lantern are not ready to use as a light source until they are burned into pure ash. Only then will they be capable of giving the light you need. So at first light it, then turn DOWN the gas and allow the mantles to burn. Then, after they turn to ash you can crank it up. Replace the mantle if a chunk of the ash falls out. Carry many spares and avoid the ones which come from the Philippines... they are usually very radioactive. Thorium. Extremely high melting point, so makes a good hot spot but you really dont want to risk breathing in just a tiny bit of the ash. In fact I use them as a radiation standard in some of my hobbies. Reflectors? That reminds me, I need to pick up some buttons this season. Your in a State Forest. There is hunting season. A hunter will often make their way to the ground they intend to hunt long before dawn. They use as little light as possible, and many times they will lay down a path of reflectors to mark their trail between the camp site and the hunting grounds, and can be depended on to make an important area shine... like where your tent is. Plus if you have a bunch facing INTO the camp then as something crosses before it the reflected campfire light will blink out, offering a clue. When a hunting area is prepared you may find them out in the distant trees as well. Once a hunter reaches a specific area they often prefer to wait in a single pre-selcted spot which offers them good cover, good wind and clear sight of several points they will be interested in watching. They can mark the distance to certain points along those sight lines where game is more likely to cross, and the exact distance is very important for the ballistics of both arrows and ammunition. For my rifle I would select 100 yards, 150 yards and 200 yards for reflectors out in the forest in different directions. This would effectively be a random pattern to somebody not viewing it from a very special point. With light they can shine well... but with my infra-red night vision equipment they are incredibly reflective to me and shine brilliantly and invisibly in the dark all around and I could see the trail going up to camp shining brightly all the way up... along with all the eyes in the forest. Oh my lord! I am SO glad to see you are NOT cooking in a tent! I have seen that so often recently I could puke. Its dangerous. There you are being a thoughtful, reasonable human being acting like you know what your doing and guided by a well developed survival instinct. Good at you. Pay attention all, this guy KNOWS how to avoid a tragedy when camping! DONT cook or eat in your tent. Guys... next trip consider one of these: www.atncorp.com/thermal-monocular-odin-lt-320-2-4x AND one of these: www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-binocular Oh, I also suggest getting a solar charger for your gear too. If your hunting for game, photos, science or data they will triple your contacts and light up your world. Let the world shine.
@Slalakum Жыл бұрын
Thank you for all the info. Very helpful. The lantern has held up well and survived many trips at this point. I actually picked up a solar charger for Linda this past Christmas. That makes sense about the reflectors. Thanks for watching! We really appreciate your valuable input.

You should make a toilet with one of those big five gallon buckets and a toilet seat you just put a bag down inside and there's videos online that tell you what to put down in them to keep the smell away I can't remember what it was that really worked better than anything but check out some videos and I'm sure you'll find it. When I was camping a few weeks ago I used a container to pee in at night there was no way I was going out of my tent in the middle of the forest. Especially after hearing trees getting cracked at 3:00 a.m. very near our campsite. I was terrified to say the least.

Also when you're in the mountains you get way more rain just because of the higher elevation you're up in the clouds more. I lived in the mountains of New Jersey for 2 years and we got so much more rain and snow there. I live in Southwest Pennsylvania and we just camped at Laurel ridge State Park up past seven springs if you know where that is.
