either some issue while training or just the fact that the accuracy of the model isn't high enough to distinguish between the two images, besides, the images could be very similar to each other as well.

i think it is not necessary to do so because he added the "batch normalization" layer after each convolution layer in the model which does the job for him already.

It should return the classification whose characteristics is more dominant than others according to the code. Since sigmoid function is used. So, the output will be either 0 or 1. Even a 'Horse' should be classified as 'Cat' or 'Dog'.

1.try increasing the complexity of the model to see if it properly overfits the data, uske baad use the dropout layer and batch normalization. 2. try using any one at a time like batch normalization or dropout layer and not together.

From my mistake I am telling you : when you train you are doing image/255, but when you test you may pass image directly. dont do this, you have to do image/255 then only model will giwe you accurate answer
