Make sure you don't touch the bulb with bare skin or oily gloves. If you do, use a oil remover (rubbing alcohol, Dawn, etc.) to clean it before you light it up or it will create a hot spot on the lens and burn out the new bulb quickly.

Wow much thanks for this . Yay . Got an 11 Camry and it might be the same. Passenger side headlight doesn’t work at all . Was wondering if there are separate fuses for each side..UPDATE is the same. tanks for the memories 😂

Hello. I have a problem. On my 2007 Camry, the front passenger side, low beam headlight shines low, its dim, not very bright. Its shines noticeably less bright then the low beam on the drivers side. So I said I can fix that, bought a new bulb, and nothing, same problem. Question, do you have an idea why this is happening. Any idea? I am wondering if its the ground. And how I can fix that.

Treg, I would think that is a wire breaking down in between the fuse box and lamp. Check the voltage on the lamp working properly then your dull side. Make sure the socket is grounded good too. My camry light went out a few years back. It untwisted from the body just a hair, once twisted back tight it's worked ever since. Good luck. Mine has 220k miles on it...still going strong.

Did u ever figure out why the beam was so dim? I'm having the same issue but both of my low beams are very dim and my high beams are not working either

Hi I have a 2007 Toyota Camry I got hit from behind on the bumper really hard now my headlights don't shut off they stay on I have to disconnect the battery can you tell me why but damage is not that bad but now the headlights stay on

Sounds like a short to positive. Check all your bulbs in the rear. I once had a loose bulb in the rear taillights that caused an issue. All I had to do to fix it was twist the bulb back tight. Good luck.

What about high beams?

Not sure. Never had one go out. I did have a rear brake light out, and it was not twisted tight in its socket. Put a 12V tester across your socket and see if it has 12 volts. If not, there is a fuse blown or your lamp is bad. Continuity test the bulb. There is a schematic on the back of the fuse block cover to pinpoint the fuse. Good luck.

Make sure you check the fuses with a meter. Mine didn't visible look blown. Also, in one occasion twisting my blub socket into the frame made the necessary ground connection and my rear parking light came back on. I never had to replaced that blub. Good luck.
