Nice! Bynum got the immigration hook up. The Visa process can be very daunting. Suggest that only the strong willed attempt to bring someone to the USA. Almost 4 years apart from my wife. From start to finish the process took over 38 months. 13 years with my Filipino wife, still happy. Most importantly young men. vet properly.

Fiancé visas are faster as they sit on a separate queue. Spousal visa is in the same queue as the regular immigrant visa that has a 7% cap.

What a beautiful story of love and commitment to each other. I am a Filipino born and raised. Came to the US 20 years ago as a nurse. Yes we were raised and encouraged to have a career but we were taught at the very young age to put family first. Growing up with my grandmother she taught us (my sister and I) how to cook, how to clean, how to budget and how to run the household. So even if I grew up with house helps and nannies I know how to do house chores and know how to take care of my own family (my husband and kids) when I get married and start my own family. There's is no divorce but we have an annulment. Both of it are ways of separation of a married couple but they differs in some things.

If you only knew... but yeah, I think that national plea was like a wake-up call.... it's hard to keep doing the same thing, and yet no one in the office is telling you, change this, not this, change that. Applicants keep doing the same thing that's required and still getting denied without a word or corrections, but a STAMP saying DENIED.. time, money, frustrations...

Because they want to know that if we get one that we can finance ourselves while now the US or that we will not overstay the welcome. But since their visa is a different one from the non Immigrant, it sits together with the Immigrant visas and those are back 2 years for the Philippines
