I find this really refreshing in a sport where offense has been recognized way too dominantly over defense. Defensive geniuses like jrue holiday don't get talked about enough! I love that his main approach to getting better didn't start with I gotta score more but I have to defend better. A lot of young players need to learn that. Great offensively but give up the same amount of points due to their lack of defense.

That was fun. Never seen any of your videos, but i'm a hoops junkie so the title drew me in. I really got invested in seeing you win and watched this whole thing, lol. My analysis on the beginning clips was it just looked like bad effort and giving up in the middle of a play. But you clearly fixed all of that. Now that you're at your brothers level you can use one on one as training developing new moves or mastering sweet spots on him. That's the biggest thing people don't know, there's a few spots on the floor where you might be super accurate, and you find a way to get to those spots and it can be automatic. Especially if you can develop an off the glass spot, you can rely on when tired so it doesn't have to be perfect.

How I like to approach basketball as a former Varsity HS player only haha, is pick two things a month to work on. This month it will be sprinting in transition and free throws. Gotta get back into shape and rhytm after being sick and eating questionably for the holidays. I mostly play at an LA Fitness or Rec Leagues, but just adding a few drills to my workouts helps keep me on point. I'm not too serious though. Like seeing the defense because nobody plays to hard at the gym, just kinda let people go depending on the game.

Jrue Holliday is one of my favorite players. I love videos like this because it shows just how hard pro athlete to work. People ascribe so much of their success to pure talent when in fact it's a lot of hard work. These guys don't just roll out of bed and make the NBA lol

Being a big brother with a younger brother, only a year younger than myself, I can attest to the fact that there is no greater rivalry than that amongst siblings. Basketball was my sport growing up so if my brother beat me (not saying it happened) I would most definitely take it personally. Great vid
