Welcome to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2, the most ridiculous and insane battle simulator in existence! Create eye watering battles with hundreds of thousands, and even millions of characters on screen! After I saw the melee units get to 200k kills before the archers even hit 50k I thought this was going to be a squash. But I have to say the archers fought to the bitter end and made it pretty close. Guess those extra 300k melee units really made the difference

This game is unrealistic. The shields of Romans will not allow the arrows to get through. It doesn't take much time for those archers to run out of arrows. LOL

I think more than one million were lost. More. Germans I think: 3 millions. Maybe. The hitler army was several millions...... But in different places. And there prisonners. But most of them died. 90 000 hitler prisonners captured by russia. Only 7000 survivee. Goulag etc. In france more germans survived. But there was a lot a bad trestments too. They had to work. Carving coal. Etc. Living in shabby camps. Etc. But it was a total disaster. On the whole. If russians call their slaved countries, and also gather the russian population , there would be a lot of soldiers. I think they don t care. Having an army is important. But terrorism is something that is the worst. Russia had also converted to that. And helping terrorists. The usa had made strange aggrements sometime.... But no such battle would take place. But even in france we could die because of demonstrations of infiltrated crowds and militia and manipulations etc. People killing each other, from manipulated groups. I like for eg the series bushwick

I think itd be a different outcome if you set the archers to attack rather than sit locked in place. All the archers from the very back would move up into range rather than them standing back just waiting for the soldiers to get closer

But the archers would need to move to the sides. Both sides. And kind of circle the romans etc. Good idea. But ghe game does not go like that I think because tbey are too many. And anyway they couldn t aim. They can t aim. I think that archers are in a bad roleif they d9n t have shields and spades and long sticks. I don t remember the name. Long metal sticks. But in the game they are fighting also. But this is a crazy challenge. Archers should be able to aim. Not random. And an army also need lines with spikes. Balls of fire etc. Archers should skatter. More isolated

I'd like to see some battles with smaller, more realistic numbers, think it'd be more intimate and entertaining. Say 5k WW2 soldiers vs 20k archers. The really big numbers are cool too but there's so much going on that you don't appreciate the close calls or up close battles...

Or soldiers/armies that are more evenly matched like 100k romans vs 100k spartans, etc. Or really up the ante and make it like 10 million romans vs, like 1000 super archers. Although for the 10 million, you might a slightly better computer/GPU to not lag....

In reality the Romans would march in using the testudo formation. Spartans would form a phalanx. Not sure about the Persians.

The testudo formation was used mainly for sieges. Attacking enemy front lines, you only have to worry amount missiles to your front, but that big shield, armour and helmet covered them greatly. As for the Hoplite type, they to would be very good protected frontaly, and it's written in one of the battles against the persians, that the hoplites would run forward when the arrow volley was released, so as to have the missiles hit behind them, but also to close distance sooner. The Persians had a large wicker shield, that gave large coverage to the front against missiles, altho the shield was not as solid as what the romans and greeks used, but used as a wall to protect the archers, which the persians had many of, and many doubled as both archer and infantry. Altho there were several types of infantry in the persian army, and some might have interlocked their shields or stood shoulder to shoulder and used spears between the shields, as their shield had inward curves that seem like their made for that pupose. Their is a modern reconstruction of the Persian immortals, where the regiment has infantry with spears and wicker shields in the front line, followed up by infantry that have sturdier smaller shields that has that inward cuve on both sides, and lastly you have archers that also have spears. In actual battle the Front line would take up position, and the archers would follow and take cover behind the large wicker shields, whilst fireing volleys, once the enemy closed the archers would fall back, and the third line with infantry would march up and support the front line. The Archers then had their spears, should any cavalry threatend them to their rear. This is also when the Persian cavalry, and the Immortal cavalry regiments would be commited to drive away any cavalry and flank the infantry.

Joseon archers, and Persian. I can assure you the result would be different You can leave the romans, but at least Joseon archers or Mongolian archers, they were exceptionally good. They could fire up to 3 arrows at the same time for 3 different targets. Their aim during horse ride was probably the best this world ever knew. They had arrows that could tear up a tree trunks, on top of that they were good at sword fighting.
