Great video. I just started playing Pickleball a few weeks ago and it's so much fun. Is your shot at 0:38 legal?

Interesting video. I guess I'm left wondering how two 5.0 players wouldn't have run you from side to side on most points to create empty spaces and open shots.

John, this is the first of your videos I've seen. Really good idea! Unique content and fun to watch the challenge aspect. I hope this does well for you as the making money playing tournaments part gets harder and harder due to depth of field. You've got a new subscriber.

Still amazing that you were able to win a match off two 5.0+ players. Really cool video series!

After watching a video like this, people who complain about only losing because they have a bad partner, look what this guy did by himself! Wow! Amazing court coverage!

How do you set up your paddle out of the box?
@johncincolapickleball2 жыл бұрын
I put about 1/2 ounce of lead tape in the handle and a half ounce around the 4 corners of the paddle. I also remove the grip and just use 1 over grip right on top of the handle.

Dumb question, early in the video you seemed to hit the ball around the side of the net when their shot skipped over. Do you not have to hit it OVER the net if the ball bounces to the side?
@johncincolapickleball2 жыл бұрын
That’s correct. It’s called an ATP (around the post). If the ball is hit on a wide enough angle in the court you can go around the net rather than over. Fun!!

Just FYI tennis has the same rule but it's a lot more common in pickleball.

👏👏👏 You’re a beast John! I can’t imagine myself playing two players at once. 😅

It's a good practice game for everybody. Playing skinning singles is even better for the two-team as it forces them to be more precise with returns.
@johncincolapickleball2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it’s great practice. Just gotta play aggressive and take it to them!

The answer would be for the team with two players to play the same way they would in a doubles match. It would force the other player into a ridiculous scenario with too much court to cover. The more they try to drive and play singles, the more mistakes they are making.
@johncincolapickleball2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that’s pretty much correct. It isn’t as easy as it sounds though. Since I’m by myself I’m playing extremely aggressive and speeding up at the first opportunity I get. It’s tougher for them to keep it slow be aide I’m pushing the issue

Shouldn't this be a format in tournaments? The separation should be at most 1 rating point.
